I think so too. I am very disheartened to hear how low their numbers are for the football program. Since middle school I remember playing them and they always paraded out like 80 kids. It's intimidating! Good Luck Coach Lickert!

OKAY: 1-that toilet picture is disgusting 2-Highlands High School is by far the best team in the state this year IN ANY CLASS 1-6! 3-For all of you ready to reply based on Number 2, bring it on! 4-I have no idea how they come up with this except maybe a guy sits at his computer and says "Hmmm, how can we upset each and every legitimate football fan today? I know, I'll send out rubbish!":scared:

I have never even heard of JC until the playoffs last year. I wouldn't want to neglect any of our REAL rivals with spending time talking bad about a school I never even heard of but sounds like its got a nice facility from what I hear.

I have been thinking since the Colerain game. You know.....Holmes is probably the one team in NKY or all of KY for that matter that could adopt the same offense that Colerain has and probably execute it pretty well. They have the numbers, size, and the speed for sure. With the right coaching, they could run that triple option. I just hope they don't get wise to it and try it. That would be scarey. I know that whatever offense that Steven is running will be well oiled and firing on all cylinders. He is really a great coach and an even better person. It's almost a shame when we have to play them. You wish him well, but you don't want them to beat you. Let's just hope that both teams can come out of this game injury free. The one positive thing that has come from these injuries is the emergence of some other kids getting the opportunity to step up and do a great job.

I would love to see this "fast as Highlands offense." I will give credit to NCC that they are fast and a great team, however, fast as HHS, not hardly. I also think that NO ONE is giving Ryle's D the credit it deserves. I guess they'll just have to show everybody.

Just based on games already played and the fact the Spritz's boys are young, I'll have to go with the Blue Colonels. I hope I'm wrong, but my gut tells me I'm not.

No matter what the level, Frosh, JV, or Varsity; this is always a game. I am just as worked up about this one as last week's against NCC. I think Cov Cath will bring it. I just hope that Carter and the boys will give them a NEW appreciation for the game. Sorry for the PUN, couldn't help it.

I saw a few tackles in the Highlands Colerain game where the Colerain players made some horsecollar tackles and I was very worried for the players involved. I hope that something is done.

Wow, this would be the game I would go to if I weren't going to the Highlands/Holmes game. I can't even begin to guess an outcome so I will just throw a number out there like 17-15 Ryle. I think Ryle's defense will be the stingiest D that NCC will face this year. I don't see them allowing the Breds to open it up. They also hung tough for 4 quarters with HHS. I see this being a battle that NCC lets go of again for the second week in a row. Sorry Breds, normally I got your back, but when you let a 20 point lead slip away, I must be proven wrong. So prove me wrong and win it.

Dale is not that kind of coach. We don't need any points for any ranking. All Dale is looking for is number 18. All that requires is a win. It doesn't matter by how many. A win by 1 and a win by 100 are the exact same in the W column! You don't get anything more for a huge lopsided victory except an opponent who won't want to schedule you anymore.

I never said any of that at all! Did you read my quote? I am saying that if the opportunity comes to put in the 2's and 3's, I know if will be done. I am not nor have I ever accused HHS of running up the score. There is only one team I would like to do that do, and I will keep my personal feelings to myself.

For some kids, JV is all they may get. That may be the only action they may ever see. You know those kids are playing to win. I know that there is no JV championship or anything like that, but maybe there should be. Not a state-wide thing, but maybe in NKY we could do a JV championship similar to the Frosh one. Any thoughts???

I am very sorry I missed this one. I bet it was very exciting at the end. I am also glad to see that CCH rebounded. It would have been bad if they didn't win any going into playing HHS. We don't need that kind of pressure. Good luck Colonels and Breds this year.

Depending on how Tony's knee feels, it may be sooner than that. Let's just hope that we can get out of this one injury-free! I was really nervous seeing 3 of our main guys get banged up in the last few minutes of the game this past Friday. LN-will there be a meeting this week?

That's nice to hear that Ryle was a good sport about it. I for one am stating right now that Ryle is a contender. With some experience this year, they will be the team to beat in 6A in NKY.

Now I think Highlands can win by a lot. Dale would not run the score up on a former player and such a great young man as Mr. Lickert. I just hope that Steve is doing the one thing that several other coaches weren't able to do at Holmes.

Let's go ahead and get this one started. What are your thoughts??? How well will Highlands rebound off a tough loss last week. Also, I noticed that several key players were banged up Friday. How are Rosenhagen, Roller, and Guidugli doing?
