I attended both the HHS and the CovCath freshman games this past week. Taped both games. HHS used and showed very little of their offense last week. I'm sure that the HHS coaching staff was very aware of the six Cov Cath coaches scouting in the stands and hoping that Cov Cath's defensive plan this week is to clog the middle. Highlands coaching staff wasn't born yesterday. Not making any predictions, but HHS will score more than 7.

Let's hope so. Maybe I should go up there and watch just to make sure.

I thought the Birds left a lot to be desired on offense and should be able to utilize CArter New at QB a little more. Not to mention the rotation of 5 RB's should be able to wear down the Colonels.

 

Offensive and Defensive lines will be key in this one.

Looking forward to this game. I hear Cov. Cath. has a very good Frosh team. After watching the Highlands / NCC game I'm really liking this group of Birds.

 

It is Highlands vs. Cov. Cath., both teams want this win more than any other. Both will be ready.

 

I'm hoping for a Highlands win but know that with these two teams anything can happen and will.

Big Country is going to Highlands right!!!!

I watched CCH play Newport last Saturday. Cov Cath's Achilles heel is their lack of speed. They are big up front, but once you get by the big guys you're off to the races. Newport looked somewhat disorganized but were able to score because of a couple of very athletic players. Highlands has several of these athletes and if they stay on the ground should win this by three touchdowns.

Highlands should give the Colonels their first big test. When? and Where is the game being played?
