Teams have to get ready for the game, especially the away team. I dont no if I would have removed the team from the field but i would have kept the warm up away from the senior night festivities.

Chris Hendrix and Michael Riley have started all 4 years. Jansen Penman didnt play his freshmen year, but has started all 3 he has played.

Actually Garrard is still considered a young team. Yes only 5 seniors graduated last year, but there are only 6 this year. Only two of the six are 4 year starters. With 30 something players on the team Garrard is forced to start/play sophomores and freshmen.

The players are playing harder this year than they have in many years under Stoney. There is confidence in the new coaching staff and everyone believes it was a move in the right direction. Yes the record is under .500 but the obvious connection with the coaches and players is evident.

I will agree with you about total team speed. However Fred Hayes, Jam Merritt, and Tyler Ray are extremely fast. And Tall Trees yes Garrard lost to Taylor after scoring 56 points, however three of Taylor touchdowns came off and interception and two kick returns. Chris Thomas statisticly is the best running back in central kentucky.

Garrard has seen many good running backs this year. Chris Thomas from Taylor, Spencer Greer from Bell, and Somerset had several good backs. However these teams had other threats as well. If Frankfort is looking to just the one guy to win the game they may need a new gameplan. Not taking anything away from Weaver but last year most teams focused on E.J Fields which got Weaver open alot more. Garrard has definatly improved from last year.

People have said this all year. Garrard is finally putting offense and defense together , and thats dangerous for ANY team they will face. Garrards speed will be able to keep the corners closed on the panthers. This will be alot better game than this.

If Garrards offense can get off to another fast start this game could be very interesting. The defense all through the season has seemed to come up with a turnover, it just never seems to turn into points. I favor the Lions in a close game. 28-21 Garrard wins.

Pendleton didnt score until the second half. Garrard's defense did a great job all night of keeping contain of Steadman. Pendleton didnt start to score until the JV defense was in.

Garrard will travel to Jackson to face Breathitt in the first round of the playoffs

Boyle has to much fire power for any team on their schedule to handle. They have proved many times this year how ligit they are. I see a running clock the entire second half, 55-7 final.

Tyler Mays. Extremely fast and talented on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I believe he returns kicks as well. Could be a spoiler for the opposition.

The game is at Garrard, and it is also senior night. I agree with you eagle but Garrard also put up 56 on Taylor co.

Garrard's offense has also declined. They havent been putting up the points like they were in the first half of the season. Hard to believe the tackling problems. Before the Wayne game Michael Riley lead the district with total tackles in 73.

This will be a hard hitting, very intense football game. If Garrard can get the offense going early Wayne could be in trouble. I look for it to be a shoot out, with turnovers being the key factor. Garrard have five a week ago against Lincoln. Im picking the Lions in a close 38-35 win.

Statisticly Garrard is better on both sides of the ball. Lincoln doesn't average as many points and gives up more. Both teams have played good teams to this point of the season. It is a huge rivalry game, and I expect to see alot of points put up. I have to go with Garrard because of home field and a better defense. I see the final as 52-41

What was the extent of the injuries to Chris Thomas. If he is out of isnt 100% Taylor maybe in for a dog fight. Should be a good district football game. Home field advantage is also up for grabs here.

There will be a running clock early. Jv for Boyle should see some time.

Garrard lost the game on special teams. If you take away the two touchdowns the Leonard Macon returned on kick returns then Garrard wins 56-51. Other than those two plays the game was about as even as it could get. Both offenses were dominate and defense was just out there for both. Garrard has to control the special teams game in order to win in districts. Garrard also again caught a tough break with the officials. Taylor fumbeld the snap and Garrard recovered. However, a false whistle by the head official gave the ball back to Taylor, and they scored on the next play going up by one touchdown. I hate to say it was a game changing call but Garrard was getting hot and Taylor was having trouble driving the ball late. The score that followed made it hard for Garrard to come back.

Have I heard correctly? Is Trey Edwards out for the season?

After a shaky second half against Somerset, Garrard will have to tackle possibly the best back they will see all year in Chris Thomas. If Garrard keeps Taylor from scoring at will it should be an interesting game. Taylor defense gives up alot of points, and Garrard has a more explosive offense than last year when Garrard edged out a victory. A key district game for both teams. Garrard wins 41-37

Lincoln is still facing to many injuries. Southwestern picks up a key district win. 28-14

Play clocks would help the players as well as officials. While in the huddle players arent counting in their head how much time they have left. The clocks would stop arguments between coaches and refs about how much time has passed and wouldnt allow the refs to give teams more time. Fans, players, coches and officials would all benifit from having the play clock.

Just dont think Jackson can respond after what happened last week with Garrard. However, closer than everyone thinks. I say Wayne 28-14

Garrard does a great job of doing the opposite of what the defense expects. They have quick backs that dont mind hitting it up inside, and can burn a safety on a pass route. Somerset will need a good defensive game for this one
