First year head coach Mark Scenters leads the Lions against a Taylor county team that is off to a solid start. This one could have a big say on the playoff picture for both teams.

I have a ton of respect for Scenters and his staff. Taylor county was an old high school rivalry for me. I'm going with the Golden Lions!!! This will be an old school slobber knocker!!!:fight:

This really should be a great game this week. I've got a couple of really tough ones that will be taking place near my home on Friday night. I'm gonna have a tough time picking.

GC learned alot from the loss last week. They will bounce back.

After watching both teams the last two weeks, I think it will be a good hard hitting game. I think Macon and RB for Taylor will be the difference. Should be a really good game.

I agree JD Chris Thomas and Leonard Macon will be the difference. But Taylor Co will pull out win. TC 21 GC 14

Going with my gut feelings, Garrard wins!

After a shaky second half against Somerset, Garrard will have to tackle possibly the best back they will see all year in Chris Thomas. If Garrard keeps Taylor from scoring at will it should be an interesting game. Taylor defense gives up alot of points, and Garrard has a more explosive offense than last year when Garrard edged out a victory. A key district game for both teams. Garrard wins 41-37
