  1. Bell has an inflatable helment they erect pre-game and all the boys get inside and run out of. The helment crew, which assembles at all of Bell's games, home and away, were informed by a courteous law enforcement official, that the helment was to be put in the bag and not to be blown up. Now that's rather childish in my opinion. This is part of Bell's tradition and is done for the boy's. Word was sent out first by Coach French to get it off the field, and it was removed from the corner of the endzone to outside the hedges. Then the law inforcement came over and commented the athletic director sent them to inform the helment crew that it was to be put up. First place to ever reject it. Sad sportsmanship.
  2. I think the "unnecessary ruffness" call on the hit by Madon was ludicrous and made by the wrong official who was mayby coerced into the call by the sidelines. A definate momentum changer. It happens. But all said, I think we played flat. The Boyle team played with heart and really brought it in the second half. The Boyle team showed class as well as the fans I encountered. One note though. The coaching staff and administation showed zero class and acted childishly over Bell wanted to erect their runthrough helment. Now that's low class. Congrats Boyle and good luck in BG.
  3. Rock is always Rock. Never die never give up. Rock will rebound. This is a terrible assumption:irked:
  4. Ya, and Bell has just went down hill. There was no room for improvement for them so down is the only way they could go. Poor ole Bell, they're in for a long night. Poor ole Hilton to, just has lost the desire to coach. Just there for something to do. :isurrender:
  5. From what I saw from Greenup very early, they are very hard nosed and will not back down from anything, or go back to their cabin. hehe . Perty classy boys they are.
  6. Crawfish was a man. I witnessed a few of the holes he opened up. Ahh them were the days.:ylsuper:
  7. Bell won 14-13 at Cawood Here are some of the players from that game for Bell Scott Collett-QB Jamie Smith -RB Brian Crawford -O.L. Cager Lawson -O.L Jeff Knuckles -Center John Burch- Corner Sean Davenport-Corner Harvey Miracle-Safety Greg Philpot DE Benny Raby DE Joe McGeorge-receiver Sean Neal -FB It's been a while for me. Sorry I can't remember more right now. hehe
  8. I'll agree Bell looked like they have taken two weeks off. There execution on both sides of the ball was sluggish in this game. My Cats are in for disappointment if they play like they have for the last two weeks. Hope Coach gets the fire re-kindled this week and gets the boys back in focus for the big show.
  9. To soon for me too. Still enjoying tonight. GJ Cats.
  10. Good post UK. Soddy is a cool name and they are a good team. Because "we" beat them doesn't mean there "not a very good team it looks like". Bell played exceptional defense against them. The secondary had the coverage clamped down on those receivers and gave our line time to sack or hurry the QB. Their running game was all but useless against our D-line.
  11. I think every team has some ways to go at this point in the season and I'm sure Bell will be focused and ready for Soddy Daisy come Friday night. Good win for the Bobcats, looking better and better every week.
  12. Kudos to them Black Bears. This is a very significant win in my opinion. Sounds like the wheels are starting to turn. Keep workin Bears.
  13. Bell played a solid game with the conditions. How could you not play a little off with "sloppy" conditions. The defense is very strong. The turnovers were center to QB exchanges. Something that happens when it rains. The Cats will keep workin, but as for sloppy play, I disagree.
  14. The cats are firing on all cylinders now. Carton is back on defence. Madon has regained his confidence in the pocket. The backs are at full speed. The line is clear cutting everything in there path. The receivers are blistering routes. Dang, after typing this, this team is really comming together. 48-0. Bell
  15. OMG. What has happened to Breathitt?:idunno:
  16. This is not your typical Bell County team. This Bell County team has a chance to be something very special. The talent is there to be one of the best Bell County teams ever, they just have to translate it to the field. Not taking anything away from Highlands, they might be one of the best football teams in Northern Kentucky, but in my eyes they are not ready to play a team like Bell County just yet.
  17. Carton is a kid who can bring this team together. He has been a big part of this program since he came from just down the road. He can make things happen for the Bobcats, especially in the defense. He can come off the defensive line and stop plays before they can even develope. Look for him to open things up for the offense and even run a few himself. He is an all purpose player. All guts and no glory if he does his job. He will be the most used and the most un-recogonized player, but will be used for the greater good. Let's see what time will tell. Welcome back Dom.
