Seth Chambers has been out with the Bobcats on Log Mt. and it's my understanding that he's back :banana:

I don't know for sure what kind of camp or combine it is, but I see were Bell County has 4 players who have been selected for the National Underclassmen Combine Ultimate 100 in Atlanta GA. Mike Howard-O.L., Matt Raines-DB, and the two Davenport brothers, Cody-WR, and Cory-RB. Thats a good accomplishment for those young men to qualify for that event.

He He. Oh yes. But really. If you have no idea besides Fugate, how can you say who ain't gonna be top 5. hehehee:banana:

I would be offended if anyone had a different opinion about the worst player on the team if they said he didn't have what it took. not saying he had said anything of the sort. hehe Just call me too hard core:isurrender: movin right along.

I'd say Harlan will put out one or 2 good ones. Cody Taylor is perty impressive.

O.k. You got me on the top five thing. You watch them time there 40's week 4 last? Just don't speculate. A real fan and "supporter" would be greatful for anything posted positive about his team. Why not be optimistic about a RB on your team. I would be quick to post Josh Brown, Carton, Hilton, or any of my backs as a top 5 prospect/hopefull. I have c-o-n-f-i-d-e-n-c-e.

I'd like to know what you have against this kid. Any time his name is mentioned, you get offended, pushing someone else over him. A top 5 back? you are the laughing stock of the team. :laugh:

Soddy Daisy and Johnson Central won't be easy tasks by far. I don't under estimate Knox Central either.

Bell's looking like they'll have some talented kids with a lot of speed in O9

I counted 12 but maybe there was 13. Baseball and a track meet the night before kept some from going. I know of two hefties that were turkey hunting and about 8 that just didn't go for some reason, that would have greatly increased our showing. Whitley had the numbers but Harlan had the meat. Good job Black Bears and good job to our boys who showed up.

Even with Losing 13 Seniors, I think the Bobcats will show how deep the talent goes and be right there at the end again.:ylsuper:

I look for the Bell/Harlan rivalry to be the biggest game in the mountains. I've played against Larkeys' teams and I know he'll have them Black Bears ready. Whos cares if it takes a few years. At least I know he will field a team and play anyone, not run and hide like others within a 50 mile radius. Middle school games between New Harlan and Bell was like a high school game when they played. Both teams were always evenly matched and people talked about their games for days. There is a lot of good talent in Harlan Co. and I believe that Larkey will bring it out. It's gonna be great for the kids, and the fans alike. The rivalry will bring people from all around and the money will be great for both programs. If my Bobcats ain't playin, I'll always pull for the Black Bears. Good luck and work hard Black Bears, build us a mountain power house and make us proud.

Heck, I played on dirt, coal, sandrocks, and glass at Evarts back in the day. Mark off some grass. At least it home.

Man, what some great comments from the Boyle camp about Bell in that Danville paper. I look forward to a rematch next year also with Boyle. You guys are a class act. Get to work Rebels, we here in Bell will start next Monday.
