From what I am told , this should be a dogfight . Holy Cross doesn't pass and Henry County supposedly has a very tough defense . Not sure what kind of offense Henry County runs but if it is ryn then this game may end up 3-0 . Any info on what henry County runs ??????????????????????????????????????????

And how Desales can be ranked #2 is way beyond me !!!!! They lost 26 seniors and will be rebuilding at best . They will realize how good that class was as the season goes along .

Holy Cross returns 19 starters from a team that was 6-6 last year playing against higher class teams the whole year . Their depth is always an issue though . Barring injuries , they can compete in Class A all the way up until the final eight against Maywood and see what happens from there . They are a run oriented team with a very strong offensive line . Their defense is their staple . As long as they can stay fresh (very tall task maybe) and injury free , they can go 8-4 , all the way up to 10-2 . They play state champ Tilghman , runner up Desales , Bullit east , Covington Holy Cross along with others . Any info on Henry County would help .............

I'll go with Holy Cross an a hard fought battle too . I say Holy Croiss 13-6 ...... Very big game foir Holy cross to start season .

I'll take Louisville Holy Cross . I am a little biased being a former player and all but they have worked for this year as being the year and have all of the tools it looks like . They are lacking a little speed I have heard but their offensive loine and offensive backfield shoiuld prove to be very big this year . Every game outsiode of district is against 2A-6A schools so that should hepl in the long run . Injuries will have to be avouided .....

Holy Cross needs to find some speed . Opening up the offense with some passing and mosdirection woukld surprise some people because Holy Cross has become very predictable over the yeasr . They should have a very strong offensive and defensive line and should have some senior leadership too . The injury bug needs to stay away becauise they have no significant depth at all . The QB sppot should be very secure with Cameron Scott and the running backs should be sound too . If they can find some speed they can go a ways inj the play-offs . I think they have home field for quite a while in play-offs .

They have a huge rebuilding job on their hands . Losing all of thise seniors will prove disastrous for Desales . Especially Ryan Johnson , who will be missed more than everyone realizes .

He was/is injured and would be a tremendous get for UK , continuing the Central pipeline that Joker has created ....

This should be a very good game as Desales is a lot better than last year and it seems that NCC is not as good . The difference could be the senior leadership for Desales . They have 24 seniors who are all mostly large contributors . But , it looks like to me that Desales may have peaked too early because they seem to be struggling in the last few weeks of the season .
