Louisville Holy Cross visits Henry County this Friday. Who starts the season on the right foot? Ol' Leonard will be checking in later in the week with my prediction.

I'll go with Henry Co. in a close tough battle. The defense puts up a good fight and the offense puts it together near the end.

I'll go with Holy Cross an a hard fought battle too . I say Holy Croiss 13-6 ...... Very big game foir Holy cross to start season .

Holy Cross returns 19 starters from a team that was 6-6 last year playing against higher class teams the whole year . Their depth is always an issue though . Barring injuries , they can compete in Class A all the way up until the final eight against Maywood and see what happens from there . They are a run oriented team with a very strong offensive line . Their defense is their staple . As long as they can stay fresh (very tall task maybe) and injury free , they can go 8-4 , all the way up to 10-2 . They play state champ Tilghman , runner up Desales , Bullit east , Covington Holy Cross along with others .

Henry's D-line will be too much for holy cross's run game. i say Henry starts off the year with a big win.
