Rule 13

Only CC losses this year were to top 5 programs. They should have little problem here except for the fact they'll get to the deer stand a little later than they would have hoped after the long road trip.

The Rockets soar on the road and get a 35-14 win.

I'll go with CC but HC could be a tough out for them. They better not look ahead.

The long road trip is always an X factor. Murray and Mayfield exposed Crittenden for being one-dimensional with Gray. I'm sure HC has those game films and will be prepared.

I say that Crittenden County will pull out a tough win against a Holy Cross squad that is very similar to the Rockets...but the main thing the Cougars do not have that the Rockets have is #14 J.D. Gray. We have respected that young man for many years now and see him being the difference maker as Crittenden gets the win and sets up the rematch for the Regional Championship at Mayfield. From the two losses I have seen against the Rockets the one thing that hurt them was out and out speed...from talking to the Paducah Tilghman faithful HC does not have speed...they can pound you and are physical, but they are not fast and that plays into Crittendens favor.

Crittenden Co. 21-16.

Lack of speed has always been a weak spot for Crittenden, they can get in there and bang with about anyone as far as toughness and physicalness goes but we're always average when it comes to speed.

HC lacks speed. So it should be a good game.

Haha, on the comment about our guys getting back late to the deer stand!!! Even though I tried not to laugh, I couldn't hold it back because you are correct!!!
