Found out last night that Holy Cross has a lot of starters out due to illness . I think there is at least 3-4 starters out on both sides of the ball . Could play a major factor against a fast Moore team . Never know . A big play here and a big play there could determine an upset . I still se Holy Cross holding on but they better be focused .

Can Moore finally break their losing streak ? Can Louisville Holy Cross shake off the loss to Bullitt East and bounce back with a win over Moore , especially with rival Desales waiting next week ????

Holy Cross and Bullitt East are both coming off convincing victories over the weekend . Can Holy Cross step up even more and overcome a very powerful East team ? If Holy Cross plays the way they did against Franklin County , I think Holy Cross will win in a close one ...... 20-16 Holy Cross ......

Not one person on here has given credit to Holy Cross . Did Franklin County just forfeit ? Holy Cross dominated from the opening kick-off . Granted injuries do hurt but Franklin County is a 4A team and Holy Cross is a 1A team . There should be some depth in there somewhere . FC was bigger and probably faster than HC and yet HC withstood everything FC threw at them and basically handed it to them . The biggest diffenence I seen in this HC team as opposed to teams in the past was mistake free football AND the fact that Fletcher spreads the playing time around and doesn't play so many kids both ways . HC uses a lot of young players but they also use fresh players . Tip of the hat to HC and new staff for a job well done .

Louisville Holy Cross starts today . They also will be headed up by a new Head Coach : Mike Fletcher . I think he runs the 'veer' offense . Should be very interesting .....

I know the St. X Wilson kid is a speedster who can bring it and leaves it all on the field . Will playing time be available for many of the juniors at X this coming year ?

Good hire ... Only time will tell if it is a great hire .... What about the rest of the staff ???

I think Homerun is dead on with his opinions . Coach Reidinger AND Holy Cross was somewhat used as an example . Giving away T-shirts to some youth league players is not the end of the world . But , what are you going to do ? It happened and Holy Cross sufferred . Anyway , I feel confident that Tim Weihe will make the right choice . He has a hrd decision because Weston put everything he had into that school . I hipe they get a young energetic coach in there and build on what they have .

There is nothing going on behind the scenes at all . It was strictly a won/loss situation . Winning the3 district is a given at Holy Cross because of the competition in the district . I think Holy Cross would like to get past the second round every now and then and that just wasn't the case anymore since Weston took over . The Desales' of the world are catching up with them and taking key players from them lately and that is not sitting well with BD/AM alumni . As for Weston the person , the man : You cannot find a better one !!!! As classy as they get !!!! This whole situation is unfortunate but in the end will probably be a good move as far as the football program goes . They know who they want and are goimng after him hard . If not their #1 guy then they have a fine list of other candidates too .

The future of the school is not in doubt in any way , shape , or form . Enrollment is way up and everything seems to be on the right track . I was told that they wanted more than just a 1-2 game effort in the playoffs . Striuctly numbers in that 7-5 records arfe not up to par anymore .

WOW . Where do you get your information ???? Interesting , especially beinng that he is such a class individual . Has to be about wins/losses I would think . Would love to know who they have in mind for a replacement . Maybe hiring from within ? Very quality staff from what I am told . Interesting to see how this plays out being that Holy Cross has gotten a lot of talk about being on the rise and ver young .

Holy Cross needs to get a 'quick/fast' running back in the worst way . Speed will again be a problem for Holy Cross next year . They lose some leadership but have a load of talented younger kids stepping in . QB Devon Brown should have a stellar year with a much more mature "O" line . Throw in a running game and Holy Cross will be a contender ..... Haven't heard anything about coaching changes though but I am not really in the know out there .....
