Didn't expect that, is Franklin down this year?

This is a shocker to me.. I knew County lost a loyt of experience, but I thought. The Flyers played horrible tonight. I figured they would. Struggle a bit but I thought they would tough it out. Guess I was wrong.

Franklin County is just struggling right now and dealing with a lot of adversity. They return one starter on the offensive line and he is out 4-6 weeks with a ankle injury. Their best skill player has torn his meniscus and is out. Another skill guy who contributed last year is out. Quarterback is gone. The Flyers are simply rebuilding and need time. Stepp needs to figure out how he is going to use the team's talents because he is defintely not doing that right now. Franklin Goins, Wesley Watkins and Jeremy Gardner being experienced veterans need to fill the roles of being leaders. Watkins looked like a seasoned veteran at Left Tackle and is a force to be reckon with on defense. Gardner is taking a lot on his back right now by playing QB. I hope the Flyers can turn it around with Danville looming on the schedule for next week.

He did not return to the team. Not only is he the teams QB, but he was a great high school punter. He is a great baseball pitcher and has a chance to go far with baseball. I believe his priority was just baseball.

Tough situation guys. Hang in their Flyers. Good things happen to those who work. But I do believe they need to commit to a style and/or system and roll with it. The scheme and formations were all over the place last night. I believe they just buy in on something and stick to it. We are still behind you guys. :thumb:

Jeremy Gardner is the answer to both of these questions. He is the starting quarterback and scored on a two yard run.

Looks like next weeks Danville/Franklin Co. game should be a good game...Two Teams that are struggling out of the gate...Should be a defining game for both teams...:thumb:
