Any thoughts?

As far as districts go, I think that Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Ludlow, and Silver Grove should be aligned together in the same district. Move SG to the 9th and move NCC and Highlands to another district. Why not move Scott to the 9th?

Do you mean the independent school districts? Newport, Bellevue, and Dayton? Or CCHS, which is already in the 10th?

NCC is not in their district.

You know what's funny. I'm not sure about Montogmery or GRC. But every other team on the list loses some very key players to graduation. This region may be extremely competitive next year, but the talent level may also decrease.

I predict that Bellevue will be open for the third consecutive year

I thought it was very classy last night when Brossart was playing at Dixie. It was Dixie's senior night and the coaching staff honored and gave flowers to Brossart's seniors as well. I cannot begin to describe how unexpected and respectuful this act was.

Are there any games that were rescheduled for today that probably did not make the khsaa website? Do we think anyone can play tonight?

I don't think its a big deal. I've heard coaches and players call a ref by name before.

Just delay everything a week and give us some time to make some of these games up.

I couldn't figure out why St. Pats kept pressing. Brossart passed right through it the entire night and got one transition basket after another. If Brossart would have hit their layups more consistently and boxed out on the defensive end then they could have won by 15 points. St. PAts was in the game because of their offensive rebounding. I have to question the strategy to continue to press when it yielded no results except for some missed transition shots.

The funny thing was that he teaches AP Physics and the admin wanted him to stay in the classroom because he was a fantastic teacher but they told him it was unhealthy for the players to be around him.

Before I say this, I am not promoting sexism, racism, or any kind of bigotry. I am very well aware of the history in the USA, but... If a governing body has to change rules in order to force an undesirable level of equity between girls sports and boys sports, and the overall feeling in both of those circles feel it is unnecessary, then the premise is ridiculous. Do you realize that if the boys raise ten thousand dollars and the girls raise four thousand dollars, then the boys have to give the girls three thousand dollars so that it is equal. A fan cannot donate a new dry erase board in the boys locker room unless he agrees to donate a new erase board in the girls locker room. A few years ago in the 8th region a fan wanted to donate new lights on the football field. The lights went up and then had to come down because the soccer field did not recieve new lights. When I was playing a few years ago the freshman couldn't wear new uniforms even though the ones they had were ten years old and falling apart. However the freshman girls showed up wearing new warmups with their name stitched on the back. Title IX may have good intentions but they've become counter-productive and relatively comical.

I think its funny. It proves that Title IX is a joke. BTW I went to the /bellevue game tonight. The lady in front of me had to pay five dollars for her six year old boy who colored the whole time.

I disagree with that. Money is the issue. When kids have to pay 5 dollars to go, then one should not be shocked if they stay home and play games. The 10th Region this year is throwing around the idea of charging seven dollars a ticket for the regional tournament.
