Annie Garland - out for season with ACL injury

NDA lost Lizzy Brannen(sp) to a Knee injury in the Highlands game and have really struggled since. They also lost Katie Hill in first scrimmage to a significant shoulder injury and she is climbing back into playing form slowly. Tough to lose two starters and keep it going but they are a group of fighters.

 

NDA can be dangerous on a given night or two.

I think this injury changed the face of the 10th Region. Montgomery Co. looked like the solid favorite to go back to Diddle (for the 6th straight time), but this makes the 10th WIDE OPEN now imo.

Emily Sanker from Brossart. Five straight losses since her injury.

If Sanker comes back Brossart can win some games. It will be very tuff if she cannot come back. She is easily their best and most consistent player. She is also the best on ball defender.

 

Noelle Reinhart would have been a big contributor this season. Out with ACL since game # 4.

Damaged wrist. Possibly broken, in a cast now.

I think that a lot of people over look injuries becuase they are just so common now a days, which is sad. Any ACL injury is devastating, and so many great athletes are experiencing them more and more.

Dionna Wear from the 9th region is out for the season. She had a major reconstruction surgery on her ankle. She is in a walking boot and going to therapy. Hopefully everything goes well for her.
