Is Scott underachieving?

My quest was to see where refs come from. Are they guys that love basketball but got cut from the team or are they former players that do not have time to coach, but still want to be around?

Six weeks in, who is over-achieving? Underachieving? Biggest surprises? Cooper seems to be doing better. Campbell is a big surprise for me. I haven't followed Conner much. Their record is surpsrising but they may be young.

But how many coaches never played high school basketball?

Generally speaking, Are referees usually former high school basketball players?

Yes indeed. The lady stangs have a definite chance to win the 37th district and seem to be getting better every game. I was just saying that Scott has one of the most dominating players in the state, but their guard play is not as good as Brossart's, Campbell's, or several other teams in the area. Scott is a good team, but they are not THAT good. Did not intend to sound harsh. Lauren Tibbs could probably beat me up.

Scott is really not that good. They have one good player, actually one amazing player. They will have a losing record but will probably win the district anyway.

Any word on this?

Usually coaches select the all tourney team, plus the championship coach gets to select four from their own team and the runner up has a set number that they select from their own team. The other players are nominated by their coaches. I think this is how Lloyd operates it. IF one of the Lloyd players scored a bunch in a game then the opposing coach may have nominated him.

Does anyone have any clue on who will be moved in the 9th and 10th region or when it will happen?

So what do you think the answer is? If you had to make one statement to answer the question, what would the statement be?

But is it not true that you get out of it what you put into it? IF the school, or community, or parents, or whoever does not put as much time or resources into basketball as they do football, then one would expect basketball to not be as succesfull as football? Am I wrong in thinking that it is as simple as that?

O'h, you mean the guy from last year.I doubt Mel wanted him to leave, considering he won the district. Maybe old Mel just likes to toot his own horn. O'h well, hope the cycle changes.

Anyone can come up with one example to support anything. What other coaches have surprisingly resigned?

If we're going to criticize the AD, I wish some of us were more specific. Except for Deimling, I do not think that anyone has been fired from Brossart. From what I understnad, everyone else resigned. Is there anyone in particular who left when they didn't want to? Can comeone give specific answers.

So when does a dribble start? When the ball hits the floor? Or when the arm is pushing the ball towards the floor.

Who took the Jv Duties when Bray left? Eddie Schultz?

I think we can repeat as District Champs. It'll be tough without Sanker and Sctt still having Tibbs, but the other players have improved more than Scott's players.

Is there anyone in recent memory that the brossart parents have indeed supported? Mike Code is the only one I can think of.

When we say forced out are we saying that there was an ultimatum of either resiging or being fired? I really don't think this was the case for Terry Bray.

Anyone know if Bray still fits into the Lady Stangs Basketball picutre? He was the JV coach last year?
