A few years ago Pulaski was a better job than SW because of each schools principal. Not sure if that is still the case but it was just a few years ago.

As of today, I believe PT has the best shot to put an end to Boyle's run. I like Boyle's chances but I think PT has a better shot than the rest of 4A. -
Boyle County 54 South Laurel 27
BEChargers replied to DearToday's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Difference in % is due to difference in style. Steals lead to transition baskets and they are pretty good at that. Offensively Boyle still really struggles in half court offensive sets. Not bad from three, but just don't have a good identity in the half court. But since all of their starters are football players it only stands to reason they would take some time to figure things out. -
I think Stoney would do very well there.

Boyle isn't much higher.

Not arguing, but how is he over qualified?

Dawson graduates. -
Pulaski used to be a better situation than SW. Not from central office or parents but from specific in school admin. In school weights and couple of other things were lagging behind at SW. Not sure if it's equal now or not. But it didn't used to be.

Can't imagine this scenario. Would be great for SL, but seems funny to me. -

Corbin does lose a lot. But if Letcher, Shelby and Wayne are able to beat them next year.....I'll eat this computer monitor. -

He can watch him on TV. GA Head Coach pay can be substantial. -
State championship attendance?

EKU has 85% of it's seating on one side. Wouldn't work. I really enjoyed the games at Western. Just the right size. I actually don't mind Commonwealth or PapaJohns. I liked them both. The fairgrounds on the other hand......was a trash heap and I thought it was an embarrassment the last 10 years it was there. -
In a statement to the Courier-Journal he stated that he is tired and plans to stay as a teacher at Ballard. So it sound like he is not looking for a new job.

He announced he resigned from Ballard today. So he is going somewhere.

Pretty sure there is no more playing up. Unless I'm remembering that wrong. I think they decided back in the spring to stop allowing that.

Bowling Green 28 Cooper 14 (5A State Championship)
BEChargers replied to theguru's topic in KY Football (High School)
BG's defense really improved from the start of the season to the end. I thought a couple of months ago to win 5A they would have to win a couple of shootouts down the stretch. Give their coaches a lot of credit for the improvement throughout from the start of the season to the end. -
I personally was worried about CC's size. I thought they would shorten the field and be able to run the ball better than they did. I know Boyle's speed in the secondary takes some stuff away but I thought they would do better with their much bigger targets. Little possession curls and to jump ball type stuff. I also thought Leen would have to have a pretty big game and Boyle was able to limit him for the most part. I actually didn't think CC's defense played bad. They just couldn't get off the field. Heard on the way home that CC was 0/13 combined on 3rd and 4th downs. Just couldn't move the chains.
