Cameron Dukes is the new head coach at Adair County

Featured Replies

Adair County Athletics is extremely excited to announce the hiring of Cameron Dukes as the next Head Football Coach of Adair County High School. Coach Dukes brings tremendous leadership, passion, and championship-level experience to the AC Football program, and we are confident he will lead the Indians back to the top of 3A football in the near future. His energy, work ethic, and commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field make him the perfect fit to lead this program into a new era.

Coach Dukes played his collegiate career at Lindsey Wilson College, where he was a 3- time NAIA All-American, a member of the 2020 National Championship team, and a finalist for the prestigious William V. Campbell Trophy. During his career, he threw for more than 10,000 passing yards and compiled an outstanding 40-5 record as the starting quarterback. Most recently, Coach Dukes played professional football in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts, where he was part of a Grey Cup Championship team, and with the Montreal Alouettes. Please join us in welcoming the next head coach of Adair County Football - Coach Cameron Dukes!

Congrats to Coach Dukes.  Obviously loved his time in Columbia for him to come back to where he played his college ball to coach.  Good luck to him !

Dukes was a heckuva athlete while he was at Bullitt Central. In his senior year he led 5A football in passing during the regular season going 173-286 (60.5%) passing for 2340 yards and 21 TDs with 1 INT, and he finished out the season a game later at 186-322 (57.8%) passing for 2483 yards and 21 TDs. He was also a guard on the Cougars' basketball team, averaging 21.6 points per game, shooting 47.1% from the field, 37.9% beyond the arc, and 73.1% from the line. On the baseball team he was one of their starting shortstop, also was one of their ace pitchers, and was #3 in the batting order.

Very, very solid athlete during his time.

Incredible QB and athlete. With that said, hiring a 7 on 7 coach and QB trainer to be a head coach as his first actual coaching role is certainly a choice.

Wish him the best. He will have to lean on his staff for sure.

Congrats to a great Blue Raider Alumni and National Champ! The Lindsey Wilson Coaching tree is slowly starting to grow over the state! There are several assistants around the state that will become head coaches in the future.

Congrats he was awesome at LWC he will be exciting for Adair County.
