Officiating tonight ineed was horrible! The calls were VERY QUESTIONABLE. Great effor by the Eagles. Very proud of them. They have been playing some alright basketball lately, and I will be willing to say they'll hit their peak at the perfect time!

That could very well be a factor. Both Scott and GRC will have played 3 games already this week since Monday, but GRC has been making the hour/ hour and a half trip up to NKY time and time again.

Indeed O'conner was a big part of it. The kid is about 6'7, with some very long arms. He does an awesome job controlling the paint and being a big factor on defense. Just like you said 4pointplay, if he isn't blocking your shot, you bet he is altering it!

Stats?

It all depends on Stenzel's status. If he is playing, this one will be tough and could go either way. It would be a total dog fight. But he does not play I would have to give the slight edge to the eagles. Should be a good game boys!

Thoughts?

Scott's defense was awesome last night! I remember Scott getting a few 10 second counts, and a couple 5 second counts as well I believe. Good defensive showing for the Eagles!

Indeed they did respond very well. This game is usually always a tough one, with lots of emotion and physical pay. Game is usually very close, but Scott managed to hold this one out and win by 25+. Good job Eagles! Take care of bussiness Saturday!

Stats?

Daniel O'conner of Scott. Started last year, starting this year. Tall about 6'7 and is starting to play to his potential. Plenty of room for him to be a top player in the region next year.

Scott High did get a transfer in from Huges. He is a sophmore and is about 6'7. Wether he will play or not this year is up in the air as of right now.

It is kind of funny when you look at these rankings, then you look at a teams wins and losses and they aren't even right. Shows how accurate they are.

Great job tonight on Scott's hand for grinding to win. Brossarts defense was very good with out a doubt, but somehow Scott got it done and that is all that matters. Scott barely beat CC and BBHS this year, and beat them on buzzer beaters last year. Very exciting district tournament ahead of us boys!

Totally agree! 37th district is easilly the toughest district in the 10th!

Scotts 6 point loss to Boone, and 24 point win over Ryle should give them the 3 or 4 spot IMO.

Agree. Scotts four losses have come to very quality teams. Mason, Moeller, Clark Co, and Boone. Four very tough teams. They have big wins over Corbin, South Laurel, and Ryle. Two big games next week against Campbell and Brossart though.

Next week sometime, either Tuesday or Thursday. Scott has both Brossart and Campbell next week.

Scott came out hesitant against Boone, I'd be willing to say that Scott came out pretty hungry for a win after two tough losses to GRC and Boone. Way to go Scott!

Totally agree with you. Scott needs to maintain and build on leads, and needs to learn how to finish out games.

He is picking up a little more PT every game, he is getting into the groove of things. I'm sure come March he will be contributing a nice amount.
