I believe that Trimble will get well after the heartbreaking loss to Eminence. Trimble 28 - Gallatin 19

This is Henry's first big test. Last year, Pendleton upset Henry Co. I like Pendleton's tailback. I believe that Henry County will win, but Pendleton will score, 28 -7.

Good win for North. North, Western Hills and Henry County will have some great contests in a few weeks.

Lighten up, I agree that the 3 teams Henry has played are not state title contenders, but Henry did what they were suppose to do. North and Western Hills have been kicking butt, so I say those 2 teams are somebody.

I see your point. The schedule was made after Henry was 3-9. Henry plays in the NCKC (Trimble, Carroll, Eminence and Owen) and they played a tough Ludlow with Scott High and Pendleton County as the other non-district competition. North Oldham and Western Hills have been playing well this year. The District's best win was WH over Grant County.

Please give me a poll. Henry should win easy, but can they pitch their 3rd straight shut out.

Eminence has been a surprise to me. This matches Berry, Roberts and CJ (forgot, RB) aganist Sullivan, Eddens, #1 and #34. I see a wide open game with reverses, long passes and big runs. I say Trimble 42-38. This game will be fun to watch.

I wish that I could attend, but I will watch my son instead. What a game.

Thanks True Blue, I hope that you got to see the field house. I have always admired the Trimble County teams and I think that Coach Ponyter (sp?) is as good as anyone in the area. My question is why are the kids not playing in Trimble? The fan following is great. The tradition is good, and following a year like last year, I thought the kids would be standing in line to play.

Henry had the turnover bug early. The D was awesome. Trimble ended up with a total of 58 yards for the game.

I watched Ludlow play last week, and I thought that they were good. Anybody at the game?

Henry County had a big 2nd quarter when they scored 29 points. After a 35-0 lead at the half, Henry's depth took over. Henry Co's defense gave up 1 first down for the game. Soph QB Luke Magness provided the passing and running, Cody Miracle ran for over 100 years, and Yancey and Sampson were the leading receivers. I hope to have stats later on.

There is alot of memories on the Henry Co. players minds. Remember the Quote "If Trimble County was in AAA District 3, then they will be going to Puducah". This quote happened just weeks after Trimble fell to North Oldham.

Who said that Henry lost their top players? Henry did lose 4 good players, but the soph class is a year older and better.

I will take Ludlow 21-18. I have not seen Carroll play, because I left at 9:30 last friday night. How is Carroll depth?

Henry County lost 4 players that contributed last year. Each of them started some of the games. The biggest difference is that the large Freshman class or now Sophs, the soph are now Juniors. Henry County has worked extremly hard in the off season. Not many of their players play Basketball or Baseball. The kids did help in recruiting 2 basketball players to join them this year and both are helping.

I believe that Henry will win easy, but the big question is wether Trimble can score more than 8 points on Henry using the A-10 offense. Trimble has the skill player to break a few plays, and coach Pontyer should provide the system to score.

Will a new coach and hopefully a new attitude help Owen? The 2 QBs Florence (Gallatin) and Cox (Owen) may decide the game. I will take Owen 21-20:confused:

Yancey played WR. He had a couple of catches. Magness did well not great at QB, but the soph. will only get better. The play calling and penalties did not help Magness.

So, is Butler back? Sullivan's arm and legs will give Henry problems.

The offense is different, and it fits Trimble perfect. Trimble does not have the O-line it takes to blow people off the ball. Sullivan is the man, but #1 has the great hands, and the way the offense operates can be confusing for any D.
