The beat (down) goes on for Henry County. Three straight shut outs.

I don't think Henry County is #1 (sorry, Dr. Litkenhous) and I don't think their defense is as good as three shutouts against BAD teams. It would be interesting to see how they stack up against good teams but I don't see any opponents on the slate that will test them.

Ludlow is not a bad team ,and neither is Trimble. But, like you, I don't think they are #1. Belfry, Central and probably a few others may have something to say about that.

Ludlow's one win is over a less-than-stellar Carroll County team. They lost tonight to Bellevue, which isn't bad. They are also a very small team that a school like Henry County should handle.

 

Trimble County's one win is over a terrible Casey County team. They lost tonight to Eminence. I respect your opinion, but I still say "bad teams."

There is a team that will give Henry's ''D'' a look and that game will be next week against Pendleton.

Schedule is terrible but three shutouts is still three shutouts. They won't play anybody until the second round of the playoffs. Either Central or E-town.

Western Hills and North Oldham look to have their programs headed in the right direction. I still think Henry will be tested well in each of these games. Especially since North Oldham gets 2 weeks to prepare.

Lighten up, I agree that the 3 teams Henry has played are not state title contenders, but Henry did what they were suppose to do.

North and Western Hills have been kicking butt, so I say those 2 teams are somebody.

Pendleton only has 2 offensive touchdowns this year i dont think they will give Henrys "D" a look.

Well football fans, both my Wildcat teams are 3-0. Say what you will about Henry County and their opponents. It remains that no one has crossed the goal line in 144 minutes of play. That there is impressive I don't care where you're from. Given up just 137 yards on the ground for the season. That's a good night for one back. If it was your team you'd be happy for them as well. When you're on top everybody wants to pull you down. I guess that's just human nature. Pendleton County will give the Cats a test Friday night. Heck, they won the game last year. But then again so did Trimble Co. Henry needs to keep playing the next play and things will be fine. I'll have the smart pill machine fired up later in the week. Come on Percy, got to get to church.

I stand corrected. H.C. has allowed just 57 yards on the ground this year according to khsaa stats.

I believe so. They are also the only top 20 3A team to begin their season with 3 straight below average 1A teams this year. I am not taking anything away from Henry County but lets not call them a powerhouse just yet. I watched them the other night and they didn't impress me that much. A couple good players but not good enough to be #1 in Class 3A.

Henry schedule isn't very strong, but they have handled their business and handled it with ease. Looks like a good year for the boys in New Castle. I'm looking forward to seeing the matchup with Eminence.
