As Always, I'm going to pick my Harlan County Black Bears! It's hard not to the way we are playing right now! But I think we could talk until our heads hurt trying to figure this stuff out before Friday! Go Bears!!!

Also used the one about missing the best linebacker in Eastern Kentucky on that last drive! He was because the best linebacker in Eastern Kentucky was on Harlan County's sidelines!

I had some questions coming into district play, but I was confident that we could compete. This team really bounced back after a bad showing in Whitley. They have found themselves! I know what you mean by the clay county game being 0-4 the coach will sell this a their Championship! They definitely want to get rid of that goose egg and I'm sure they would love to keep the Black Bears from a district title. Very Very Dangerous! But I know one thing Ol' "Balls to the Wall" Larkey will have our Black Bears focused playing for a District Title.

I got tickets to BBM, was thinking it was Saturday for some reason! Not sure what to do! My Black Bears are playing a big game against Perry Central, but how do you pass up Coach Cal's first Madness! I will decide tomorrow around 3pm! Go Bears!!!

From what I hear he's playing and there was some talk that his back up was banged up a little, but from what I've read on another site they are both playing. But that's the way I want it! When we beat them I don't want any one to say they would have won if he had played. The Filthy Animals will contain him and we have developed a pretty solid running game ourselves with Green in the wildcat and Taylor and McMillan at RB. Go Bears!!!

If Harlan County leaves on a school bus at 2pm traveling to Clay and North Laurel Leaves London heading to Letcher Countyat 3pm and if Perry Central leaves Hazard heading west at 2:45pm ends up in Whitley County, but Whitley County left at 5:30 in the morning headed Harlan County! Where do they all end up??? What? My head hurts!!!!!!

This is pretty weird! Trying to figure out playoffs can give you a headache!!!One week you can be be hoping that a team wins the next week you are hoping they lose!

Still on a high! Those "Filthy Animals" are stepping it up and making it hard on everybody! Looks like we lost a corner to relocation and then his replacement hurt his arm during the game.

The offense done what they needed to and the Defense handled the rest! Good team effort! This district is like a barrel of monkeys you stick one down in the barrel and who knows what you pull out! Makes it very exciting for every team though and all of us fans plus it gives us something to talk about!

I don't really pay attention to what others say, I just pick the Bears and roll with them up or down! Now we just have to work on getting people on the field for the spirit line! Go Bears!

As I have said you can't question the genius that is Larkey! TJ did make a difference, he and #80 running the ball was a nice surprise. The Defense was just awesome! Just to show what they can do when the Offense lets them get some rest! Coach lit that fire I've been wanting, now he just has to stoke it! Team win, the whole team was "player of the game" Big Win!!! Go Bears!!!

Coach says there will be some different faces on the field this week! I wondering if he is starting with QB? Larry had been decent but just don't have the arm strength not sure what the other options have though! Not real sure where else he can pull in a new face. Maybe if TJ moves to QB we will have a new RB on the field (Jake Middleton?) Maybe it will be sophomore QB against sophomore QB! I look for a complete different approach then the Whitley game! I think we have a good team as is but they need a fire lit and maybe changing up some things moving some boys out of their comfort zone will be the spark that lights the fire! Go Bears!!!!

The HC vs LCC game will always be special! The Cougars were our first ever opponent and that was a great game, I look for our boys to come out and play with that "fire" I keep saying they need. Should be a good game. The first half of the Whitley game was pretty close and it took me a while in the 2nd half to feel like the game was out of hand. The Bears producing on offense is the key to them winning this game! Got to give that strong D some rest.

We will be alright, but like I said I would like to see some more fire, you can't tell whether we are winning or losing, which I guess could be a good thing! Like someone said earlier Whitley viewed everything before last night as preseason, that's a good way to look at it our season starts Oct. 2nd!!!!

I believe the opening Kickoff Return TD got our boys spirits down! I kind of felt like the weather delay may have given Coach Larkey a chance to light a fire in them!!! It was a good game, our Defense just spent to much time on the fiield. Welcome to 5A I don't like eating crow, but we will live to play another day! Thanks to the fan from Whitley with the bull horn he provided a good laugh everyonce in a while!

No matter how good he is one player can't make up 35 points! How about that passing game we've developed!!!!

I'm taking my Black Bears in this one they have gradually improved everyweek and we have somewhat developed a passing game. I've told everyone Whitley is either beat up a little after bell and Belfry or Mad! Bears 35-32 Go Bears!!!
