Tom Larkey said after the game that it was his 'saddest win ever.'

Huge win for Harlan.

HAHA thanksgiving drumstick rights were on the line!

In all seriousness, this was a blow to North Laurel's playoff hopes. They can still make it, but it will be tougher.

Big Win, Dad's defense was tougher! Go Bears!!!

The folks who stayed and weathered the rain and endured the delay, saw one heck of a football game! It truly was a shame that somebody had to lose this one.

Proud of those Black Bears!:dancingpa

Coach Larkey and his Bears continue to play solid "D" and run the football. The Bears have developed a very good rotation with those two young backs and Green @ QB.

Great win and sounds like it was an even better game. Harlan County is in a great position to host the first round at their place.

What about them Bears!!! I am so proud of all of them all...as I'm sure all the other fans are. WOO-HOO!!! The game was awesome. I like the fact that when we got down 14 points, but the boys didn't give up when that may have happened in the past, but they refocused, came together as a team, and won the game. :thumb: Those "filthy animals" came through again and held North Laurel to negative 15 yards in the second half of the game. Way to go boys!

Double overtime though - you can't do that often...my heart (and voice) can't take it! :scared:

Still on a high! Those "Filthy Animals" are stepping it up and making it hard on everybody! Looks like we lost a corner to relocation and then his replacement hurt his arm during the game.

I hate that NL lost. From what I hear is that it was a hard fought game from both teams.Dad and son game wow how often does that happen anywhere.Good luck to NL rest of the year hope you make the playoffs.

I listened to the 2 OT's on the radio must have been one heck of a game before that big win for HC. NL will have a hard time getting in the playoffs now I think they will need a little help. Anything is possible keep your head up NL.

NL needs to stay focused on the next game. It is a great possibility they can beat Whitley Co. They have a stingy defense and plenty of skill on the offense. They were playing w/o their starting QB and had another good player on the sideline for discipline reasons. NL could have won this game as easily as HC did. All it would have taken in OT would have been an extra point. Don't count yourselves out NL. You are still in the running for a playoff spot and a winning season.
