Did all the distraction with the possible illegal player have anything to do with let down on the defensive side of the game last night.

The days of having big slow kids are over. Look at some of the better of schools. The O lines are are big yes but also can move have quick feet and can move up field blocking. Here it comes the HHS high jacking. I don't think they had linemen over 240 last year. They are fast get off the ball well and move great down field blocking. Also if BW o-line has to play both ways because they are a small school by the middle of the 4th qtr they are wore out and laying on people. Don't get me wrong i like what i see in BW next year they are going to have a great run in A this year. I mean HHS even dropped them off the schedule this year.

Can someone plays tell the rest of us why there is so much NON high school baseball reporting going on here. I thought this was a KHSS forum not a little league forum. We are looking for the score of the state games and we have to see all of these threads that should be in the general forum not the KHSS forums. With that being said does anyone know how New Cath has done,when they play or anything about there opponent???

That's a great question Henry same one I asked Terry the other day when we were talking about it. His answer was so they can use it at UK as a recruiting tool for the future recruit's they are trying to land. Pat is now a tool for UK and any and all titles and camps they can put behind his name might help them get that one receiver they are looking for.

Nice job by the ladies. While at spelling camp i had a chance to learn a few things and its not about how a coach acts or there behavior its about how they get the girls to perform. The BGH has done just that this year and it should be the girls we are talking about not there coach's behavior.

Brooke is fine. Thanks for the concerns. Doc Holiday cleared he to play on Friday. We will see how it holds up on Monday.

I sure am glad spelling camp is over. They taught me a lot while i was there.

You know what Clyde all i am waiting on now is for the HHS haters to get on here and say that Dixie cant beat them in football so now they are recruiting in a sport the can beat them in just like HHS does in Football!!!

No grass infield for softball it is not allowed. As of now the AD at the school said a move any where is not in the cards. They state that the kids are to stay on campus it is safer and that they do not want them crossing the trafic on 27. The only thing the school does is cut the grass in the valley just like the city does at HP.

Thats not at all true. The city has just offered the softball team a field at Woodfill to use as there field with the city dist 22 knothole and other people covering the cost of repair like was done at Bartlett. Once the softball team was finished with the season the knothole kids could use.

Not sure about that but boot camp will be easier then another summer with Dale!!!!

Clyde thanks wasn't sure how to answer the first part of his post. We have asked that question for years and now even more this year. Some of the parents have been screaming Title IX all year. I have been trying to get them to understand that everything isn't always as it seems. They all say look at the boys fields its all off campus nice run by the city and why cant we have that? Now maybe the school system might listen to them.

Nope good old ARMY!! FT Benning GA. June 6th then back in time for camo at MSU and ROTC there. Should be fun summer for him HAHAHA.

she was released last night from the hospital! She was a HHS player it happened in the dugout area fell back wards dodging a foul ball and hit the ground HARD!

The field it self was in good condition. The strike zone was all over the place all night for both teams. Both teams played on the same field and conditions. I thought it was very nice of the birds to Honor the NDA senior players as well as ours. The down side of the game was Shelby, how the school makes the girls play down in the hole and you are dead right no way to get medical help to anyone down there. Last we heard was they were going to keep her over night to keep an eye on her she had a pretty bad concussion. Hope she gets out and feeling better.

On senior night Birds come out on the cold winning side tonight.
