The worest part of the softball season this year is not the rain but how the 2 best team in there distric are not going on to the region. Because some school don not like to seed they have a blind draw and now the team that ends second in the didtric tourneyment goes on to region no sense. This year HHS and NCC will play each other in the second round and knock each other out while Newport or Dayton will go to region. Whats everyone thoughts on this. :irked::irked:

Not the starting girl but St Henry had very few hits. Scored 2 runs in era's. HHS played some realy good small ball with several bunts advancing runners and then got a huge 3 rbi triple from Conner who is starting to hit the ball. Could be a good next time when the birds play NCC in the distric.

Sounds like the same problem they had this year with all good backs. Coach B does a great job getting the right kids on the field.

Hollingsworth will be leaving the day after graduation for boot camp. He was going to leave middle of June but that would have put him not back in time for the HEAD and football. Dale asked if he could play but Uncle Sam said no.

Good win for the birds. Any osting on how they did against CC Friday. Have not seen that score! Saw coach today and he was very pleased with the win today. Said they finnaly put togather a complete came.

Like i said when BBHS wins a football that matters then i will serve my 30 days.

This past season there were 5 teams in the 3/4 , 6 teams in the 5/6 and 4 teams in the 7/8th with about 26 kids per team in the 7/8 grade and 24 per team on the 3/4-5/6 teams. Three 8th graders have been selected to play for USA team vs the world game in July.

I can tell this the young Bellevue man will have them ready for BHS and BBHS there will be two wins for the program plus threw in a win over Bracken and Carroll that gives them 4 for sure. NH

Well its a lot of fun to watch all the teams play how the books are kept. Highlands has three very good position players the best catcher in the region with Conner the center fielder Thiesen and short stop Hollingsworth. I would take that core any day. They just need what Ryle has a pitcher.
