Any details about the game?

I just watched a little bit of it every now and then, but I did see Cody Angus of PRP hit one over the Pepsi Party Deck in RF (Estimated at 385 feet).

NCC was up 4-2 going into the bottom of the 5th.

Thought NCC stayed with Sullivan way to long once he got into trouble. Nice season Breds.

Congrats Panthers and great season NCC.

If and it's indeed a big IF, in the 5th inning when PRP went ahead, there was one out when the number two hole batter for PRP hit into a 6-4 FC! If NCC could have turned that 6-4 FC play into a 6-4-3 DP, they would have gotten out of that inning without giving up a run and still ahead 4-2, instead PRP got a walk,HBP, and then three straight hits to take a 6-4 lead that PRP never gave up.

NCC had 8 LOB's in the game to go along with 4 errors.

That homerun was a BLAST! The thing that amazed me was how straight it stayed as it never even flirted with hooking foul but just went for miles and miles.

That HR was a no-doubter from the second it left the bat---maybe the best looking hit I've ever seen from a HS player. It was a thing of beauty, despite the fact that it all but finished NewCath's season.

You're right on! NewCath simply couldn't get the big hit (with runners on base) that they've been able to get all year long. And when Sullivan got in trouble, Coach Schulkens had all of his pitchers in the field. His decision to play Cain (at 3B) over Murphy kept him from having his big gun available to warm up when he needed him to be ready. Sullivan was very effective through 4 innings--but PRP was able to adjust once they got through the batting order a few times. NewCath's defense finally had a let-down as well...despite some spectacular plays by Hightchew, there were a few "uh-ohs" that you normally don't see from the 'Breds. Nice year (nonetheless).

Did all the distraction with the possible illegal player have anything to do with let down on the defensive side of the game last night.

Seriously?

What distraction?

well yes seriously. When a team of good kids has to read about how one of there own was told to transfer to play with them it may have been a distraction like at how much stuff it has stirred up on here.
