Will be interesting if the transfers remain at Montgomery. Indians don't win the region without the transfers this past season.

Congratulations to the Indians of Madison Central. Tremendous coaching staff and great players. The current group of seniors won the 8th grade Middle School Championship at KBA and they win the KHSAA State Championship as seniors. All of the players were from Richmond and that makes it that much more special! Awesome!

When Happy got the job we all heard the rumors of people transferring into Mt. Sterling and all of the rumors were eventually true. Hope that all of the Indian faithful are ready for the hometown boys to take a backseat! Because loyalty means nothing in the win at all cost society we live in nowdays!!

This will be an interesting game. A quick athletic team vs. a disciplined, smart half court oriented team. Anxious to see who comes out with the "W". I think most everyone that's neutral will be pulling hard for the Mustangs, especially those that are familiar with everything that has transpired since last season in Mt. Sterling.

Wow! They scored 83 points and Jackson had 33 points. Harrison Co. had just better stay home. If they played bad with those numbers, HC doesn't stand a chance!

I would say it's very frustrating to be a coach at Clark, Paris, and Bourbon. Not knowing who to prepare for year, to year with the transfers and job availabilties in Mt. Sterling.

If the people of the commonwealth would quit supporting the State Tournament and not attend, maybe we'll see all this madness stop. Loyalty to ones school means nothing now days. The "Happy" Osbournes and Rhoderick Rhodes of the world are destroying dreams of teams, players, and coaches that have played/coached together since grade school. How Sad!

Montgomery is far and above the best team in the 10th. It'll take a perfect game by a team to beat them at tourney time. I've been around basketball a long time and I've never in my life seen better players transfer in one year to one school.

Collins is a very good TEAM. Could very well be playing in Rupp this year. Athletic and play very fast.

Montgomery will have a close game in the 10th region. Don't think for a minute that the coaches in the 10th region won't be scheming against the Indians.

Brossart scored 22 point off Harrison Co. Turnovers. must give credit to Brossart for playing solid defense. Teams are pretty evenly matched and should be a great match-up if they meet in the region.

Wagner did play and played a strong physical game, best game of the season. Breds just couldn't hit shots, only losing by 6. That has to be encouraging if you're a Breds fan!!

Will know more this week Brossart visits the hilltop at Harrison Co. This coming Wednesday!

Did wallace and hall play for Montgomery? Suspension 2 games or more?

Congrats to Mason Monroe on his 2000th point. Breds win and record goes to 15-6. Breds played without Tyler Wagner inside and won a close game. Nice job Breds!! Big game vs Brossart on Wednesday the 30th at Harrison Co.

Absolutely, it'll label both teams. It just happens to be one private school and one public school. Not sure that it makes a difference. Sportsmanship is a thing of the past and that is the sad part of the entire situation. I wonder if punishment from individual schools will be self-imposed if they find out the KHSAA decides to drop a heavy penalty down on both schools?

Watched the video several times, What a disgrace that a fight of that magnitude happens in high school basketball. i wonder if anyone from the KHSAA will even review the video and the circumstances that led to the bench clearing brawl. The players ejected will serve a minimum of a 2 game suspension and may serve more time if the KHSAA decides to make a statement.

What games will Hall and Wallace miss?

Brent Bach was phenomenal . Fun to watch! The entire team from Augusta is fun to watch!!

Harrison Co. Played a solid game and game was decided after Breds out scored Colonels 26-9 in first quarter. Running clock started approximately 6-7 seven minute mark of 3rd quarter. Wagner for HC played well and was a difference maker in the 1st quarter. Breds shared the ball and had 19 assist.

I need a history lesson. At what point did Brossart become a basketball powerhouse? I remember a time when the Mustangs were not known for athletics and more of an emphasis was placed on education, etc... Which coach is responsible for the turnaround??

If Brossart handles Montgomery full court pressure and doesn't turn it over, Montgomery doesn't match-up at all with Brossart in the half court at all.

Have to give Augusta lots of credit. That is a scrappy bunch that plays really hard Hinson does a fabulous job with those kids. The scary thing about the Panthers is they're young. The freshmen sure don't play like freshmen.
