Last I checked Cov-Scott is in the 10th Region and they were not Regional Champs in the 10th. They got beat in the semi's by Mason Co. last Sunday.

True statement that standout talent never steps on court as freshmen. The standout talent currently that I'm aware of is: McGovney, Prewitt, and Monroe. Harrison Co. staff made a decision to keep its core players together and hopefully it'll pay dividends. The core of players is about 8-9 deep with one of the players being an eighth grader and the rest are freshmen. Adding that group with a couple of sophomores getting varsity minutes this year and we'll be pretty strong in two years.

Most of these kids have been playing together since 4th grade and have been very successful through the years. Most of the credit should go to Mark Thomas and Louis Kendall for teaching them the basic fundamentals of the game. They have a love and passion for the game. Good chemistry as well.

Dillon Pulliam was the only eighth grader playing up. Record for the season was 15-5. Lost to Lex. Cath 3 times, Scott Co. 1 time, and to Nicholas Co. ( Didn't play the top players) . Harrison subbed alot against Montgomery trying to rest players, because Harrison had to play back-to-back games. Not sure if they're capable of beating each team by 30??

Harrison defeats Montgomery in Semi-Finals 49-36. Led 31-15 at half and coasted to victory. Led in scoring by Scott Kendall with 12 and a host of players sharing in the scoring. Harrison defeated host Mason Co. 57-47 in the championship. Started the game with a flury of points 15-0 before Mason Co. scored. Led in scoring by Elijah Gross with 16 points, Jordan Stubbs 12, Scott Kendall with 9. Tyler Wagner had 10 rebounds. M. Jackson from Mason Co. had an outstanding game with 24 points and was 5/7 from the three point line.

What are the start times for Saturday's 2nd round at Cov. Cath? When will those times be determined?

What does Cov. Scott have in regards to players? Who have they beat etc..? I understand that they've got one of the better classes they've had in a while? Anyone got any insight?

How did these two teams fair against each other in the regular season?

Harrison defeats Pendleton 52-22 and then beats a scrappy Nicholas Co. in the championship game 41-37. Vs. Pendleton -- Harrison led in scoring by Tyler Wagner 12 pts., Elijah Gross 11 pts., Scott Kendall 8 pts., Jordan Martin 6 pts, and Dillon Pulliam 6 pts. vs. Nicholas Co. --Scott Kendall 10 pts, Jordan Stubbs, 8pts, Tyler Wagner 7pts, Elijah Gross 6 pts., JD Kuntz 4 pts, and Jordan Martin 3 pts.

They don't play until this coming Sunday, the 7th.

Harrison did play well against Pendleton Co. and have been up and down all year. Hopefully heading into tourney play they'll play with a little more consistency. I wouldn't consider Thomas a "Big Man" in the region. He's probably one of the best athletes in the region. Plays above the rim and blocks/alters lots of shots, but plays out on the perimeter quite a bit. Hitting the three quite a bit lately!!

38 District to be held at Nicholas Co. on Thursday. Bracken hosting today Sunday I think... for their district. Not sure about the others...

Date for the tourney? and who'll be the favorites in each District?

Harrison County is 6-3 and has only play Lloyd Memorial one time. The size of Greenup really hurt Harrison and the strong defense they played on Martin and Thomas.

He's the sleeper in the region!

I have been really impressed with Thomas and Martin from Harrison County this year. They are both averaging right around twenty points a game while Thomas averages around 13 rebounds per game and Martin is averaging around 7 assist per game.

Who played well for Pendleton Co.?
