That's what happens if it's deemed they used an ineligible player, which a pitcher is considered if he's over pitch limit. You going to tell us what situation you are talking about or just keep making angry posts about something that nobody has a clue that you are talking about?

I understand that the protest wouldn't happen until after the game but it should be reported immediately. How quick the KHSAA takes notice and rules? I have no idea. If they are serious about protecting arms and enforcing the pitch count, they better stand firm with the ineligible player and subsequent forfeiture ruling.

What are you basing that opinion on?

I don't see why any coach would do that. There is typically an official scorer for the regional tournaments and it will be their job to do the official pitch count. A team that does that would lose the game as soon as that pitcher enters the game as they would be ineligible.

If reported to the state and they can show the pitch count and he was indeed over, the player is deemed ineligible and the team is penalized for using an ineligible player. How they prove he was over, I have no idea. Home team as stated is official pitch counter.

Without knowing who said he was horrible, I tend to think it's sour grapes. The umpire in question is one of the best in the region. Did he probably miss a pitch or two? Yes. Every umpire does. And I found that those that are good will admit that. The ones who are bottom of the barrel think they got every pitch right. Darn I must have a reputation :lol2: I just have expectations of umpires and that normally starts with hustle and consistency. Which I know the plate guy last night for the CHS/RHS game is one of the best at. I am not going to put the umpire's name out here for those to blast but I will say no it was not Tim.

Yes and he's a darn good umpire.

Alright so fields have been changed. CovCath/Boone @ Cov Cath - 5 PM Conner/Beechwood @ Ryle - 5 PM Championship tomorrow at Dixie at 7 PM.

Beechwood and Conner will no longer play at St Henry. Not sure where it will be moved yet. Boone and Cov Cath will play at Ryle at 5PM.
