I don’t have the numbers (and don’t know where to find them) but I’m guessing many don’t actually get their grad degree. They are just using the system for another year of eligibility. The new proposal will hopefully push them towards getting the grad degree.

Sounds from the article that Cal agrees with the rule, or atleast he did a few years ago. Hard for UK fans to say the NCAA is out to get them if that’s the case.

I researched that because it made no sense to me. The extension Cal signed in 2017 is for $8 million a year (same as UCLA’s offer). The $9.2 million figure he’s making this year has to include bonuses I would believe.

Well UK just offered Cal a lifetime contract so hopefully fans are happy with him.

The point that seems to be missed is that Houston is a good team and was one of the better ones in the country this year. Apparently that doesn’t matter though.

Do you understand sports? You do understand that it does matter how good the other team is right? We saw in college football last year that Ohio State could put up 60+ in some games. Why didn’t they do that every game? They could do it so why didn’t they? I bet it has something to do with the other team and playing defense..

The missed delay of game penalty was a killer for Memphis. Mike Singletary had every right to be upset about the non-call. That was abysmal.

I’ve read this thread as a non-UK fan and I can’t help but laugh. UK played some good teams lately in the tournament and did what matters, win. Apparently though we should ignore how good the other teams are and UK should win the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Felt knee pain in warmups and had a limp. They decided to sit him right before tip.

Yeah I saw nothing in any of the angles they showed that makes me think he was out of bounds. He did a great job of keeping his heels up. I too would like to see the picture he’s referencing.
