  6. Top 1 - HHS Bowden - Strike out swinging Rust - Strike out swing Kreeger - Walked (stole second) Walkenhorst - Ground out to 2nd Bottom 1 - JCHS Rice - Singled to RC
  7. Congratulations to Jeremy, his staff, their players and the HHS fan base. They took care of business when needed and looked darn good doing so. Their pitching and defense stepped up to the challenge and their offense did it's job. Best of luck next week and hopefully the following week to them. As LJC67 said, it is now a two week format for this year. In the past it was Monday - Saturday. This year the 9th (Highlands) will play the following times (obviously if they win out): June 9th at 11 am June 11th at 11 am June 17th at 6 pm June 18th at 8 pm This stretched out format helps Highlands and all other teams when it comes to resting pitchers. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
  8. Guess I should get off my couch and head that way then..
  9. Hoping the rain/storms holds off tonight.
  10. I have been told it was Borman but I could see where Craddock is. Both are very good.
  11. You pitch your best available.
  12. His point is you have to win the first round of districts (in most cases) to qualify for the regional. From region through state, yes it's 7 games in a row to win it. But it's either 8 of 9 (if you are district runner-up) or 9 straight (if you are district champ) from districts through state.
  13. You do realize St Henry was the top seed in the 34th District, right? They would've been in the playoffs by winning the regular season district championship.
  14. I heard that Mann threw for Ryle...

As was widely reported that he would be. Your post said "several coaches" though and the head coach is just one...

Who are "several coaches"? Without being there and having no knowledge of the program your questions can't be answered. More detail is better here on BGP.

According to the KHSAA, 3 UHA baseball coaches have completed the rules clinic for the year. They will have someone that can coach.

Not good at all. School imposed a one game suspension on the coach. We'll see what the KHSAA does. Nope.

It does say in a tweet he "struck out the next batter". I take that to mean he stayed in the game.

Umpire has no responsibility in the pitch count or eligible/ineligible players.

Was it reported to the KHSAA? Who was home team? Did they have the pitcher as over the limit?
