I should know this but is "Fort Thomas Highlands" the official name for Highlands? I was listening the other day and that's all the announcers kept saying.

That was his point. He was teasing the people that forget the 's' on Highlands and those who spell Conner wrong. Hence why he said the two misspelled schools are close to each other.

By rule, Jones is available. But he threw atleast 90 pitches on Tuesday. Not sure I would bring him back to start today. Maybe in relief if needed.

Are you guys doing anything for the HHS game?

I bet some of the same people who are calling this a bush play are the same people that called Brandon Phillips an idiot a few years ago when Jimmy Rollins started chatting with him at second base to distract him and the pitcher picked him off. In that situation I'm sure many were saying that the runner (BP) needed to be paying attention but now instead of holding the runner accountable, they say it's a bush league play. Can't have it both ways.

I faked to first atleast once a game in high school and college. Disengaging the rubber means stepping off the back. If you do that you are able to fake to first and everyone can scamper "for the ball". So yes, once again, you can fake to first without balking.

Without knowing what brand they used, typically the cheapest is $10/bag up to $15/bag. Maybe they got a better deal than that but I'm thinking the total was probably over $750.

Are you exaggerating when you say 79 bags? If not, that is a good chunk of change spent.

Pitcher turns and fakes a pick off to second base. Second baseman, shortstop and centerfielder all react like the ball was thrown into centerfield. The runner sees them "running after the ball" so he takes off to third. Only problem is the pitcher still has the ball and runs over to tag the runner.

We shall see. But I'm quite positive that Doty is on the bump. My source is pretty good on this one. Jones, Raisor, Bunning, Noe and others are all available for relief work.
