Of course there is a chance, Scott will have to win 2 games and Highlands beats Greenup Co. But there's a chance.

Scott has the pitching and defense to do it. And they showed on Tuesday that they can hit and score runs on a high level pitcher. Baseball can be such a funny a game and the best team doesn't always win, especially in a one and out situation. Scott and Highlands have just as good a chance as anyone. It would be a really cool final if they both did make it.

No Problem, any time. Go Greenup ! And you ask, so what's your thoughts? I was thinking you didn't know what was going on. At this point everybody's chance s are not real good... Every game is a battle , and baseball is a crazy sport at times. Is that better. Greenup has won 15 in a row 33-10, so Highlands will more than likely have a game on there hands. Scott has to win to night, sure it wont be easy. Not to many give - me games now. And Go Greenup.

With all respect to my BGP brothers and sisters and all the great hard working HS ball teams throughout the state and in this championship, the glutton in me would LOVE to see this.

It's more likely now than it was 2 hours ago. Baseball is so crazy...look at Scott....3 outs from not even getting out of the district, then comes from behind and beats the region host in regional semi's, upsets Harrison County to win region, then knocks off two absolute stud pitchers at State to make the final four.

 

Anything can happen and I'm hoping to cut my trip short and make the 11 hour drive back to Lexington saturday for the finals. Scott VS Highlands would be awesome. Trame, Hughes, Ohmer, Schneider, and Seeney have played together for Coach Trame since knothole and Southwest Ohio and played many of those Highlands kids a few times a year along the way. It would be a great way to finish their careers.

I'm a NKY guy who coaches HS baseball in NKY and faced both clubs. Highlands I have no doubt can reach the finals. Scott, I wasn't too sold on, but it seems they've got hot at the right time. I don't know what other teams at the state tourney have, aside from good records. That was the basis for my question.
