I believe the goal scorers for HHS were #17 (with an assist from #10) and #12 (unassisted). Dixie missed a PK in the second half which would've knotted it at 1-1. Still trying to figure out how a card wasn't give on the penalty call. Dixie player almost had her arm pulled off on a goal scoring opportunity and not even a talking to was issued.

This. Footwork is huge in receiving, blocking and throwing. Bad footwork makes for a bad catcher majority of the time.

You know what else is annoying? Having to come back to finish PKs because of darkness...

As stated, Dixie is now on their fourth day of a two day tournament. How is that fair to them? And by the same token, St Henry is also having to come back and finish. Some will probably cry "well both teams have to do it so it's no big deal!!!" but it is a big deal. Both keepers and the upcoming kick takers probably didn't get much rest last night. They are in Golden Goal PK's. One round and it could all be over. Why can't Villa rent portable lights for the tournament? Are they fine with their facility causing preventable inconveniences?

Just heard that the game between Dixie and St Henry was suspended due to darkness tonight. They have to go back tomorrow at 5:15 to finish the last three kickers in golden goal PKs.

One bus is all that is needed but you have to find a driver that wants to do the trip. If that driver has a longer route, then it creates the issue of later starts.

Kenton County policy requires all teams to take buses to away games for liability reasons. Yes, due to bus situations it is difficult for any team to get to away games for a 5:00 start. Most bus don't finish their routes and get back to the school until 4:15.

Which means (by looking at the NHS calendar) that he would've had to enroll September 17th or earlier.

I will be attempting to make it. If I do, I'm hoping to be able to stay for it's entirety but that has a 50/50 chance of happening.

Dixie has beat HHS 8 times. Not sure of years but that many victories tells me other coaches may have beat them.

No I'm fairly positive he announced he was retiring before the year. I could be wrong.

1) Spritzky 2) Spritzky is still an Assistant Principal at Dixie so it's not like he quit coaching and cut ties with Dixie 3) Spritzky wouldn't throw a game. He's a competitor 4) Spritzky retired on his own I believe 5) Spritzky may still support the birds but in a game between HHS and Dixie, I'm 99.9% positive he's pulling for Dixie.
