I give the winner of District 36 a slight advantage in Regionals. Assuming NDA wins District 35, NDA and the 2nd place finisher in District 36 have a 33% chance of meeting in round 1 of Regionals. The winner of District 36 can't see NDA until round 2 and can't see the 2nd place District 36 team until/unless they both advance to finals.

So who is the best dark horse out of Region 9? Other 5han NCC, NDA and HHS, who could make that 3 game run for Region 9 champ? Will someone other than the eight projected in the original post be playing in Regionals?

Live preview today, #9 NDA @ #8 NCC (rank based on Maher ranking as of Oct. 4).

Will these two teams meet up again in two weeks in the Regional final, likely. Who ever wins this game today will certainly be the favorite to win the 9th region.

Where is the 34th District tournament being held this year?

I heard 34th boys and girls will be played at Villa.. If true, games must be starting early since they don't have lights.

How does that work if you can only play one game a day.

I think they only have 3 teams in the district.

If so, it would on take a total of 4 matches for both boys and girls.

boys have 3 teams. Girls have 4 teams. will take 5 days of one game a day.

Do they even have a score board that works? I don't think I've ever seen it on. Also the field is really small.I'm all for spreading the wealth but they should not be playing at Villa.

And I believe they are holding a freshman round Robin this Saturday. That combined with a Friday rain might make for poor field conditions. Than you have all that seating capacity and the fact the fans are 2 yards from the touch line, refs love that.

I don't disagree with you but the state has guidelines in place for post-season, if a school (field) meets them, they can host.

I'm guessing field size isn't one of them.:jump:

I'm a really bad just of distance because when we played there earlier this year it didn't look like 100 yards. Maybe someone from Villa or in the know can comment on the size.
