I know JJ knows this, just because a kid chooses to play for a D2 school for various reasons, doesn't mean the player isn't D1 caliber.

Yes they will have some depth this year in the backcourt with the two freshman guards, but more importantly a badly needed skilled post player in Clemons. The meltdown against Male I won't put on Berger. Many other things attributed to that loss. They were a young team with mostly very talented sophomores and an awesome freshman playing most of the minutes. This year they should be experienced mature players that can handle those types of games. I'm looking for big things out of this team for this year.

Just to add another thing to think about: Even if they don't play in college, they can still play intermural basketball helping them meet new people with similar interests. Some colleges even have club teams that play other college club teams. I have a daughter that might have been able to play for a college, but was burned out and didn't want to play in college. Now she's a sophomore and missed playing, so she tried out for the club team. She made the team and is having a blast playing for fun. She made many new friends in the process.

The last three scrimmages should be good ones to watch.
