  1. I don't want to take anything away from any of these girls, but how many points would Grigsby have scored if she played 6 years of ball? Nothing more to add other than comparing apples to apples. Creech is quite the player.
  2. Have to give Mercy some props. I thought I remembered reading that in the paper, but didn't see it listed on here or Riherds.
  3. If you look at years playing varsity, then I think Grigsby is more impressive than the rest on the list.
  4. Did the semi-final losers play each other? Mercy and Bowling Green?
  5. Great game by the Eastern team and especially Kinnard. Close game well into the fourth quarter with the Score 53-52 at 4:45 mark. Thompson hits a three and Eastern goes on a run. Eastern is good and has great depth. They will be a tough out come touney time. I like where the Valkyries are at this point in the season. They will get better and to will be a tough out at the end of the year. Good luck to Eastern with their hard fought win. Now go win the Lexington Catholic holiday tourney.
  6. Well you're going down the wrong path. I root for all of these girls and watch them during the summer playing on their AAU teams. As far as strength and weaknesses go we all have them. The ones that improve on their weaknesses reach their potential. I'm sure they all improved over last year which is great. Like I said before this game won't make or break the season. I guess we will agree to disagree. Good luck tonight and pray the girls all stay healthy.
  7. That was from a different year, so is irrelevant. The CJ pre-season rankings have them ahead of SHA, so the pressure is squarely on them. Adding Mishler in my mind is huge for Eastern. They will be tough to beat.
  8. 5. Ryle 3. Henry Clay 3. Bishop Brossart 1. Spencer County 1. Southwestern 1. Webster County 1. Johnson Central TB 90 points
  9. Just going to sit back and enjoy this game. If and that's a big IF, Sacred Heart handles Eastern's trapping defense and limits turnovers, they have a good chance to win this game. Both teams have the potential to shoot the ball well and the one that hits a high percentage wins this game.
  10. Let's get it started. Who wins this early season match up?
  11. Valkyries stay unbeaten, 50-43 | CatholicSportsNet Nice Article in Louisville Catholic Sports.
  12. Game will be fun to watch, but in the grand scheme of things this game doesn't mean much no matter who wins.
  13. SHA 60 Eastern 45 Sacred Heart will go 8 in their rotation having 5 quality starters on the floor. Most of the scoring from last year is back as well with the exception of Johnson. Harris has filled that position nicely.
  14. Check out the LIT score from last year, which was with only one senior that played in that game. We will know soon enough.
  15. The A/D that makes up the schedule usually has knowledge of who is good competition and who is over matched. They normally don't schedule games with over matched opponents, but this can't be helped when it is a district foe. You have to play your district teams during the course of the season.
  16. Assumption must be improving greatly. Expected that this would be an easy win for Shelby County.
  17. Read in the CJ today that Male Sophomore India Green tore her ACL and MCL in the recent game against Butler. I wish her well in her recovery from this injury.
  18. Sacred Heart's chemistry is getting better and better after every game they play. It sure seems like they are playing for each other instead of for themselves individually. Being a young team with only one senior and Junior, there aren't any prima-donna's on this team. They are also a really good shooting team with multiple players that can score.
