  1. I knew you followed the Boy's side closely, but am surprised that you aren't involved or interested in the girl's. Fair enough, but because of that thought you were having fun with some people on here.
  2. Either this explains it or you are just poking the bear.
  3. The Lady Camels impressed with their motion offense and aggressive play on both ends of the floor. They moved the ball really well on offense getting good looks at the basket. #4 Clos is a heck of a player! The Valkyries looked flat in the first half, but put together a good 2nd half to get the win. Good luck to both teams going into tournament time.
  4. Nice win. Looking on the bright side, Duvall should be fresh for the push through the playoffs!
  5. It was a great game, but Mercy got the best of the Valkyries in overtime.
  6. BGP's ranking has two top ten teams playing each other tonight. The game is on tonight at 7:30 where #10 Sacred Heart takes on #5 Mercy. With most of the other games cancelled because JCPS cancelled school today, there should be a good crowd on hand to watch this one.
  7. The 6th region is getting interesting because many thought Butler would walk away with it. Mercy has proved to be a viable choice to win this region. Now you can bring Bullitt East back in the mix. Without their star player (Duvall) they have competed at a high level. According to a recent article in the CJ, Duvall is coming back soon and should play in districts. My pick is still Butler in the 6th. Male is by far the class of the 7th, but could be upset by the other three main contenders (Eastern, Manual, Sacred Heart).
  8. Good assessment! Grace Berger is the real deal and she's just a sophomore. Scott was impressive with their never give up attitude and aggressive play by driving it into the lane.
  9. Sacred Heart beat Mercer at Mercer. Why are they so low? LOL And Eastern beat Sacred Heart.
  10. Butler looked really good with tons of talent and size on that team.
  11. Should be a fun tournament to witness this year. It's time for many of the teams to turn it up and make adjustments that prepares them for regionals. We should get a better idea of the teams that the stock is going up and the teams where their stock is going down.
  12. I think the best chance to beat E'town is E'town. They win the LIT and the sweet 16 unless they implode.
  13. Sacred Heart is good, but they have the same issue as most other high school boys and girls teams.... Consistency. When they are on their game they will be tough to beat. All the NKY teams seem to play them tough, so I expect no different tomorrow evening.
  14. Should be a good match up of two perennial strong programs. Is Notre Dame coming into form? Will they come out of this one the victor? Does Notre Dame have any strong post players?
  15. Once in a great while kids are ruled ineligible by the KHSAA.
  16. Your assumption is correct, SHA played man to man the whole game. McCune and Curry took over in the paint. Manual was something like 0-12 from the three in this game. Would love to get into a shooting contest with Manual because that is a strength of the Valkyries. I'm sure SHA's coach is working on other defensive strategies for the remainder of the years schedule. If the Valkyries win their first game of the LIT, they get another opportunity to play Manual. On another note, in the paper it was documented that SHA's best player sprained her ankle the day before in practice. This severely hampered her ability to utilize her skills in this game.
  17. I don't understand why anyone is making a big deal about this. Most all of the catholic high schools offer scholly's based on results of the entrance exams. None of these scholarships take in consideration extra curricular activities to earn the award. Is this just someone trying to stir up :poop:?
