  1. Who will be the top returning players in the 12th region next year?
  2. Bringing back someone who knows the area would probably be a good idea to get the program back to where it used to be.
  3. Who are some of the best assistant coaches around the state?
  4. Who are their top candidates or are they still trying to find the right person?
  5. Coach Biggs would be great for a job like this but he has a good job in Ashland. Why would he leave Ashland for this job? Just wondering
  6. Has Woodford found the guy they want for the job yet?
  7. Polson has had some big games in his high school career and a good showing at the state tournament could help him in the Mr. Basketball voting.
  8. This game should be another great matchup in the state tournament. I am picking CC by 7.
  9. This game should come down to the wire. I am gonna pick Mason by 4.
  10. Has the school decided on a coach to hire for the job yet?
  11. Has there been any new deveopments in the search for a new coach?
  12. Whats the status of this coaching job? I have not heard anything in the last few days?
  13. I have Polson play several times and i have been very impressed by how well plays and how much better he makes the players around him.
  14. This should be a great match-up between two great coaches. I for one cannot wait to see this game.
  15. I agree some players get left out because of thier stats, but players who carry their teams to the sweet 16 back to back years need consideration also. I believe Justice and Polson and have played plenty of quality oppenents over the past couple yeras. I think Polson had like 40 or 50 against Lex Cath last year. he also carried his team to the final four. Justice has won two Class A state titles. they have played pretty good teams as well as kids in Northern Ky and Louisville and Lexington area kids.
  16. The one reason i have a problem giving Mr. Basketball to some D-1 level players is they are being givin a D-1 scholarship on potential alone. In my opinion Mr. Baketball should be given to a player who helps their team in most ways. Polson and Justice arwe both very deserving. I think Sewell is also a deserving candidate. Punishing a kid for playing D-3 or a walk-on somewhere by not awarding them with Mr. Basketball is crazy. These two kids are still playing. The best high school player should recieve the award not the kid with the best potential in college. This is a high school award, not college. Again just my opinion.
  17. Wow those are two pretty good players who didnt make the all-tournament team.
  18. 1. Scott County 2. Ballard 3. Christian County 4. Warren Central 5. Shelby Valley 6. West Jessamine 7. Paducah Tilghman 8. Shelby County 9. Newport 10. Butler 11. Corbin 12. Mason County 13. Knott Central 14. East Carter 15. North Hardin 16. Muhlenberg County
  19. I think you are right they are an exciting team to watch. Ashland, Greenup, Elliott, West Carter, and Rowan will be the top five teams next year with Russell, Lewis, East Carter, Raceland, and Fleming will be the next five. After that you have Bath, Menifee, Fairview, Morgan, Boyd and Rose Hill. Now i know this is early to talk about next year but this is just my opinion.
  20. Jordan Gilbert would be my pick. Mason Co. has the toughness and abilities to give any team fits. I had the chance to see them play several times this year and they are a very good team. Coach Ohearn does an excellent job. Their experience in the past years really paid off down the stretch of the season.
  21. I do not know who was on the 12th region all-tournament team but I am excited to watch Polson at the state again this year. He was one of the stars in last years state tournament.
