Hey 16th Region Fans - 5 posts on the Regional Championship thread? Really???? Come on, guys!! All the posts are one-liners, mostly congrats. Where's the passion? Where's the details from the game? Man...remember back in the Rose Hill-Ashland-Boyd County days? There would 10 or 11 threads going talking about a District Tournament game!!! Holy cow. I've been living in the Atlanta area for about five years now and like to pop in on BGP to get the inside scoop.

When Timmy Knipp and the Elliott County Lions were eliminated the zeal went out for the 16th region. You need TK and the crew to generate the fun.

East Carter played very well and shot the ball well in overtime. They were the best all around team in the regional tournment this year. I saw the championship game and they made big plays the whole game when they needed one.

I agree East Carter was the best team! In my opinion Elliott was the most exciting to watch and had the best story line: trying to replace a great 09 team and what TK was gonna do from night to night. I would think Elliott would have to be 16th region preseason number 1 with what they have coming back.

I think you are right they are an exciting team to watch. Ashland, Greenup, Elliott, West Carter, and Rowan will be the top five teams next year with Russell, Lewis, East Carter, Raceland, and Fleming will be the next five. After that you have Bath, Menifee, Fairview, Morgan, Boyd and Rose Hill. Now i know this is early to talk about next year but this is just my opinion.
