St.X defeated CovCath 50-38 last year in Louisville.Should be a close match this year with rebounding and 3 point shooting being the deciding factors.

They are a very small private school in Louisville. They have not had a basketball team for several years now.

They need to field a team this year.

Only if his birthday fell between Jan.1 and June 1(graduation) If his birthday is after June 1,he would only be 18 at graduation.I hope we got this all cleared up! Why is this a concern?

With teams like Eastern,J'town,Ballard,Male,and Seneca returning,on paper,very strong teams,and Manual and Trinityalso having solid rosters,it would indeed be very difficult for X to be a top 6 team in the 7th region.Brian Gunter has graduated and the big man play will be an area to watch. All that being said,X should have a very competitive team.

It would also benefit him to hit the weights over the off season.

That is the thing that stood out in our group as well It looks like it is painful for him to play basketball;seems detached.

Eastern is a better team!!

Eastern can rebound and plays reletlessly.

That would be relevant if both teams played the exact same schedule

How does Corbin look better on paper? Does it say that all of Eastern's players are very quick leapers with above average verticals and 4 will go to the glass on every shot attempt?

Starters range from 6'0 to 6'4".

Eastern just beat Jtown last nite and they have a 6'10" center plus a very strong supporting cast!

Have not seen Corbin play but I have seen Eastern play vs. Ballard, Jtown and other 7th region teams and cannot imagine another team dictating that Eastern slow the pace of the game down to win.They go 8 deep without any dropoff and hit the offensive glass relentlessly.They should be favored to reach the finals!

That would be good so Morrow may not be as able to say and do whatever he wants to the refs with little consequence.

Trinity controlled the tempo the first half and were up 1.Stayed close thru the third then Eastern took over from there.Sewell had 2 points for the game on a put back,and if it were not for Little,they would have been out of it earlier.Both teams played hard.

Ballard let it slip away,scoring 4 points in the last 4+ minutes.

Harrison played at an Eastern feeder school. Eastern was picked 4th by the coaches in preseason rankings this year(CJ Nov.23,2008)
