Lou St. X ventures north to Park Hills to take on CovCath this coming Friday December 18 for a triple header, starting with the Freshmen game at 4:30.

 

CovCath has a lot of reasons in the last six months to try and put it to the Tigers with losses to St. X in baseball, football and most recently Soccer in the state semi-finals.

 

CovCath comes in with a 3-3 record while the visitors come in looking for their first win of the season (0-3).

 

Last year CovCath defeated St. X at St. X by 12 for one of their eight victories of last season.

 

Does Trey Evans pay back St. X for his loss in Georgetown? Does Mattie Klein pay back the Tigers for his loss at St. X in the LIT? Do Alex Connlley and Michael Robinson put the hurt on St. X for the football loss?

I think the Tigers get their first win of the season in this one. They are 0-3 in large part because of the tough schedule they've played: Eastern, Seneca, Ballard.

Those three teams have one loss between the three of them and that is Eastern's loss to North Lawrence Indiana. This could be a dangerous 0-3 team.

I would love to see Cov Cath win this one, but I think Lous St X will be too much for them. I think it will be a close game with a final of Lous St X 59 Cov Cath 56.

The Colonels are 2-0 on the road and 0-2 at home (1-1 at a neutral site). Look for the Crazies to will Cov. Cath. to their first home victory this Friday in a close battle with St. X.
