CWB....I know you are a CCH fan through and through.....and I respect that. I can assure you that there was not going to be a delay of game penalty called on them. They were yelling for them to hurry and get to the line and get the play off....I can also assure you of that.

I have no agenda....nor do my kids go to either school. I was there to enjoy a local high school game. All I stated was, IMO I thought CCH was trying to run up the score on a team that they were much better than. It was the second to last play of the game (about 10 Sec) with CCH running to the LOS, with the coaches yelling "hurry up" and then procedded to throw aTD pass into the EZ from about 15 yards out. If there had not been a flag on that play, They might have reached 50 pts. If that is not running up the score than you and everyone else might want to think about your next response.

No....Same rule as varsity. But it can be requested by either team at any score or time during a game from Varsity on down. You guys are missing the point....as the finial 30 or seconds of the game are ticking away CCH is running to the line and throwing the ball into the end zone just to try and mke it a 48 or 50 point game....all with the first string skilled players still in!!

They kept starting QB (#19) in untill the last play, throwing the ball into the end zone as time was running down. All this happened after running clock. I'm sorry guys, but yes that is running up the score. AT 32-0 they are passing down field in the fourth quarter like they were the one down by 30 something. Just didn't see the up side in that.

Never have I seen a coach at any level try and run a score up like I seen tonite. I feel for those kids, on both sides. The ones from CCH that didn't get in the game and the kids from Dixie that had to suffer through it.

Haven't spoken with anyone.....Just know that the rule states for a play to be considered a "spike", First it has to be a clean exchange between center and QB, with one step taken backward and the ball thrown forward into the ground.....That clearly did not happen!

That "first down" was not a spike....it was a fumble, recovered by the offense (QB) who scored a TD. So since we had no TD, the only other thing it could have been was an inadvertent whistle. Which would not have been counted as a down. This might have lead to some of the confusion.

Very intertaining game in Fort Mitchell this morning. Questionable calls late in the game may have been the difference. Both schools look strong for the future.

As you stated earlier...."Beechwood had some key players out". I think this is a team that cannot afford any injuries. When those players return, hopefully next week, they need to stay healthy. I believe their defense would of had a MUCH better showing last night if all hands were on deck!

At first glance......Conner should be rated higher...and New Cath. a little lower!! Just my opinion!!!

Beecwoods present senior class faced the same situation when they were freshman. Season was almost cancelled. They decided to let 8th graders play up and went on to have a great season. I hope the best for HC !!

I will agre with you that Beechwood looked the better team early on. But they tired and the numbers showed late in the scrimage. That coupled with the penalties, I believe Conner got the better of them. Three TD's for Conner....Two TD's (Erdman. Thomas) for Beecwood!!

I might not be able to list a lineman....but there are at least two that aren't on there due to having an injury last year!!!!!

I'm sure he did not "lose" any spot...I do believe there could be a little tension tomorrow during the 7 on 7 drill betweeen these two schools!!!

I believe it will be Cameron Lane....As he was getting the majority of the snaps before the dead period. Gage and Max will be in the backfield....Don't believe they will show any "Wildcat" early on.

Dont forget about Gage Erdman, He was hurt half way threw the season. return for the playoff, only played defense. Erdman / Nussbaum duo in the backfield could be one best the in nky. Good chance for both of them to have 1000yds

I would not write off this year team....They are extremely talented at the skill positions and better than advertised on the line.
