    Beechwood win! BW lost senior rb mitchell thomas 1st qt was a big blow to the team, and the young kids step up and made plays

    If the Tigers lose Mitch (for the year) it will be a huge blow. Seems like a repeat (Gage Erdman) of last year. I realize this team is a lot deeper than years past, but having a senior at RB who has been there for three years is a little different than having a sophomore step in and be "the guy". I will say that the Stringer is a great football player and will compete, but I was looking forward to seeing them both play at high levels for the Tigers this year. Good luck to Mitch, Prayers are with you and your family.

    This team is a little down right now IMO. They've been without Max for the first rew weeks and now lose Erdman for the year. I know all teams have injuries, but these two hurt. They were the only two with varsity (4 yrs) time, they were the leaders of this team in many ways. When things were not going right, the younger players had someone to follow. Somebody needs to step up and fill that roll. If Nussbaum returns tonite I think Bw wins easily, no disrespect to HC.......BW 22 HC 6
