  1. I have known Dominique many years all the back to when he was living in Mt. Sterling. He is a very good football player and a very good kid. He just needs to play football and worry about the recruiting stuff after the season. I know his goal is a state championship, he just needs to focus on that and everything will fall into place. Good luck Dominique
  2. Looks like Lloyd Memorial picked up a nice win last week vs Cooper. I don't know anything about Llyod Memorial other their record and i have heard they have good running backs. I have to go with the indians by 10! good luck guys
  3. Does Alex Mathews still play qb for Georgetown?
  4. Congrats to the tribe. Hopefully they will work on some more things and improve every week.
  5. Sounds like my indians are picking it up! Lets see if our D can close it out.
  6. Your correct. I have not seen our team this year I just know about them from previous years. The sackmaster will be at the game for the first time this season to support my Indians!
  7. On ESPN they said he weighted in at 365lbs when we signed. His usual weight is 330lbs.
  8. This is true, but if you go back to 2006 and 2007 Montgomery County played much better on the road. I believe they had an 8 game regular season win streak. Should be a good game with a great crowd there.
  9. You can't forget about the band and the cheerleaders creating excitment!
  10. As an MC fan and not knowing what Clark Co. has I'm going to say 24-21 Indians. GRC has had two weeks to get ready for this one, but Coach Gooch always has an opponent well scouted and has a great game plan. This game being in Clark County may help the Cards. The last time MC played at GRC was the playoffs in 2006, what a great game!
  11. Goldie, can you fill me in on what Clark County has this season?
  12. JC has run the score up on everyone, Last year when they played Montgomery County he pulled his starters after they got up around 40-0 then when Montgomery County kept their starters in and scored he put his starters back in! I am glad someone did this to Matney, but this won't change anything, he will still be running up scores whenever he can.
  13. I don't know too much about either team this season. I haven't seen either team play yet. The past few years when these two teams take the field it has been a very good game. This makes me remember the 2006 season when Montgomery had the ball on the 5 yard line with one play left, went for a touchdown and the pass was incomplete. I know Mason has some good talent but I also know coach Gooch will have his team well prepared for anyone that they face on Friday night.
  14. 18-11 as a starter. He still has many good years left, physically he is all there but i don't know how much he has between his ears.
  15. I'm not sure but I know that Boyle played at Montgomery County in the Rec. Bowl a few years ago. I can't recall who they played though.
  16. Here is his sophomore year highlight film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj8Fzbe1F24
  17. i have a friend that puts butter on his hotdogs.
  18. Best Memory as a player. I couldn't choose just one... 1. Montgomery County vs. Clark County, 2007 Rec Bowl. Clark County had 22 seniors and were preseason as high as #4 in the state. Montgomery County only had around 40 players. Montgomery got down as much as 14 i believe but after a touchdown then a kickoff fumbled by GRC Montgomery recovers and scores making the score 35-34 MC with only a couple minutes left. Clark got around their 25 yard line and lined up for around a 35-40 yard fieldgoal, not a gimme but makeable for their kicker. Jr. Ryan Hackworth came from the outside and blocked the kick with just 2 seconds. The fans rushed the field and the celebration began. 2. Montgomery County vs. Woodford Co. in the 2007 playoffs. Woodford was the #1 seed hosting the game, while Montgomery was the 4 seed, who hadn't won a playoff game in 10 years. Montgomery made 3 fieldgoals in the first half while Woodford County scored 1 touchdown with the extra point making the score 9-7. The 2nd half was back and forth, with Montgomery having the ball with about 2 minutes left on 3rd and 5 at the Woodford 30, Montgomery ran 5 QBTAG and Kaleb Curtis found a seem and outran the yellowjackets. On the kickoff, the squib bounced off someone on the front line of Woodford and Montgomery recovered, taking a knee to make a major upset and win the schools first playoff game in 10 years, 16-7. This was also one of my personal best game with 12 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tfls, and 2 blocked punts. 3. Montgomery County vs. Ashland at Putnam Stadium. 2007 Ashland Homecoming. This was a key district game and the first district game for the Indians of the seaon. Ashland's Matt Thomas(great football player) took the opening kickoff back to the MC 30 yard line. But the Tomcats went 3 and out with a 15 yard sack taking the out of fieldgoal range. I don't remember too much about the game, but Montgomery started to stall on offense in the 3rd quarter when they called in the "Big Joe package" handing the ball to 365lb. defensive tackle Big Joe Stanfield, he carried the ball 3 or 4 times including a 12 yard run he later scored a touchdown i believe. Ashland tied the game up and Montgomery had the ball on their own 40 with 2 minutes left. They drove down the field to the 3 yard line, with only a second left they called out their fieldgoal team, everyone lines up ref blows the whistle indians go to snap the ball and the second runs off the clock. Talk about one of the worst feelings in the world! In OT the indians score and i believe go for 2 and convert on it. Ashland scored on 3rd or 4th and goal on a pass to the corner of the endzone to Matt Thomas. On the 2 point conversion, Ashland puts Thomas back at QB and Thomas goes back for a pass see nothing so he scrambles to the pylon where CB Ryan Hackworth comes up and completly sticks Thomas, putting him 1 inch short of scoring(believe he got a concussion on it, can't confirm it though). Game over Indians win in Putnam on Homecoming. This was also a personal best game with 12 tackles, 2 sacks(both in the first quarter), 3 tfls. One of the most back and forth games i have ever played in.
  19. i will be picking it for the 360 tomorrow!
