  1. I'll be glad when the season starts so we can talk about the games and the players no matter the pitch they play on.
  2. Scott's defense seemed unorganized and the goalie made a couple of good saves to keep the score at one. NCC gave up a goal when the offside trap was foiled by one of their defenders moving back. NCC than double teamed #9 and Scott had trouble mounting an attack.
  3. Wow maybe this subject should have been the ten worst fields.
  4. 1 Cooper 2 Pendry 3Latin 4 Boone Conner 5 Moser 5B Holmes
  5. Definitely not the norm at Highlands. Usually the JV was loaded with sophomores and freshman (never seen 8th graders on jv).In fact until last season 7th graders weren't allowed to even tryout. The freshman teams usually have all the middle school kids at most schools that have a freshman teams.
  6. Very well done guys. New coaches at BB, Boone and NCC make you question how they may shake out. Eighteen seniors has to be a big plus for CCH and make them the favorites to go down state.
  7. Yeah that CCH team was loaded and that loss was the final straw for that coach.
  8. Trying to figure out which games will be worth admission and yes I know its soccerama. Ryle and St.Henry would be but St H. probably will not play their starters much, and Cooper v Highlands, or NCC and Scott.
  9. Agreed that all facilities have to be used including the grass soccer field and the city parks. I'm pretty sure I see Ryle, CC and SK use the grass fields for football practice. Wouldn't cross country be better served practicing in the park not sure just seems more conducive to meet conditions.
  10. Looks like NDA vs CC is the best game of the night. NCC vs SK might be second best.
  11. Doubt it she has varsity minutes.
  12. Mike looks like he is helping his old HC buddies at Cooper and waiting for a job to open up not much there dbly
  13. He has coached GC for the last five years I know of.
  14. Will Burnham is the freshman goalie and he did make JV. Raw talent with some polishing could be very good. Very good size and good reactions.
  15. Highlands has a good freshman goalie trying out. I think he will land on the jv but he could give the upperclassmen a challenge.
  16. JR always schedules top teams he just isn't traveling far to get it done and why should he with the costs involved. Just curious in Ohio dbl yellow does not receive a subsequent two game suspension but Kentucky it does and the Ohio guys are quick with the cheese so do you coach differently in OH?
  17. Still see it as four seniors starting but we shall see in a month or so. Cuts are wednesday:popcorn:
  18. In Ohio they stop this by only allowing five players from a high school to play for the same club team. Most club coaches make to much money to coach hs or they switch genders to avoid conflicts. No matter what anyone says there is conflicts of interest whether it is demonstrated or just felt by those not on the club team.
  19. The real question for NCC is will the twins go right to varsity? The one that plays in the field probably the other one plays keeper and they already have the best keeper in nky.
  20. I would just say that your better off putting your money into a 527 plan than soccer training.
  21. I'm pretty sure highlands will only have three or four seniors starting. They will probably have a couple on the bench and the rest have called it a career. They do have a strong junior and sophmore class and he made it obvious to all that he couldn't wait to get them on the field
