Not sure bout the open jobs. I'll take a crack at my top 10.

1. NDA- best around here til someone knocks them off

2. Highlands- solid program with good athletes

3. Boone- only lost 2 sr and 2 Fr coming in will upgrade this team

4. NCC- lost a lot with Zimmerman graduating

5. Ryle- not sure about new coach. Poe is solid but will she get help from others?

6. Campbell Co- good team could be higher

7. St.Henry- could be higher not sure what they lost and have coming in

8. Simon Kenton- young team last yr should be better this yr

9. Dixie- Miss KY soccer gone

10. Brossart- didn't see them last yr going off what I've heard

Just my 2 cents

Think for pre-season you are about spot on All American.

Robert Zoeller from the Louisville Ballard Boys Varsity team is taking the helm of the Lady Pioneers

That is an impressive get for SK. After most schools take the easy choice when it comes to soccer coaches sounds like SK got a program maker. I'm wondering did Robert seek SK out or if SK did some due diligence and found the best candidate?

Bob Pifer at Ryle. Do the new hires change how the teams stack up?

Who is Bob Pifer? My understanding is that the Ryle Girls Soccer program could surprise a lot of teams this next year.

Bobby Pifer was the Head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach under Sara McSorely at NDA up until last year when Sara stepped down after a very long and successful career at NDA. Coach Pifer is an awesome coach and even better person. He had a successful career at NDA head coaching several undefeated JV squads and assistant coaching multiple varsity State Championship teams. Congrats to Ryle on a great hire, they are very lucky to have him. I wish Coach Pifer all the luck in the world as Ryle's new head coach, except when they play NDA!:thumb:

Sounds like a great hire by Ryle. Hopefully he is able to continue the upward trend there.

Ryle returns 15 underclassmen from a team that went 13-4-2 last year. Good luck coach Pifer!

Heard Coach Zoeller's daughter is coming from SHA with him. She was a finalist the last two years for Gatorade Player of the Year and was one of the top 3 kids on the West All State. SK returns all but 4 players from last year according to the KHSAA roster.

15 underclassmen + 8 seniors=23 girls. Could have had a 2 platoon system. Are some of these 15 including some JV players or did these girls strictly get varsity time?

Just trying to gage how good they should be. I have heard they will be down this year losing 8 seniors.

Highlands will need to replace their leading scorer and team leader in Taylor Vaughn. They also loose half of their starting defense. The main thing is that they are returning all of their starting midfielders. This is the key to this team because they are the motor that makes things run. Goalkeeper is another strong position for Highlands. Highlands will be a young team but are loaded with talent for the next several years. How that talent comes together this year will decide how far they can go. Tough schedule this season as well, with several really good Ohio teams on the schedule.

The issue(s) with Highlands remain. We will see how "loaded" they are for the future, compared to some other teams, soon enough....FYI- Taylor is not replaceable. Particularly when you have quite a few, seniors to be, that have contributed at the varsity level in the past, deciding not to play this season, and/or again this coming season. It is a shame in my honest opinion, that quality senior players that have contributed at the varsity level in the past and played at a high club level (and will, or potentially, play at the collegiate level), would decide not to play their senior high school season because of a coach. Too many issues, perceived, or not- conflicts of interest, inexperience, lack of leadership/sound decision making ability/physicality/actual knowledge of the game/ability to separate professional/personal feelings and personal/professional relationships (player and coach), for this team to do anything significant this season in my opinion. ND is the team to beat provided they can overcome their own issues. Campbell county will have a quality team as will NCC(particularly with their goal tending and returning backs). I expect Ryle to be in the mix as well. ND should be the class of NKY this season though provided they can overcome some infighting there as well.
