My guess is that the reasoning behind saying Highlands will be young - like someone said earlier in the thread - seniors deciding to not try out for the team. Sounds like the issues some had with the head coach have not been resolved.

 

Care to expound on this? What were/are the issues with the head coach? Heard all about this last year and now again, but no one wants to talk about them? Who is not coming back and what are the reasons?

Highlands season will hinge on Brooklyn playing. How is St. Henry supposed to be? Who are the top players in the NKY area?

Well if she did not play last year then why would she come back this year? That would make zero sense to me.

I know who Brooklyn Rivers is and why she did not play last year and I would be willing to bet the ranch she will not be playing this year either and I do not believe it has anything to do with who the coach is or is not.

Never said it had anything to do with the coach. Just she makes a team better period.

So, by my count that is 3 dads, out of 5 coach's, for the HHS girls soccer team. Wow! None of whom, the dads that is, that have any previous advanced level/significant playing, coaching or significant technical ability. Wow!

Brooklyn should only play, if she plays at all, for OE. No reason to risk injury.

So she can't get hurt training/playing games for OE? Nemo played last yr and didn't get injured.

Do not know much about either to be honest. SK is in the 8th region so they are viewed much like Campbell County to those teams in the 9th region. Boone always has a decent regard, but against a suspect schedule. They do have a very good goal scorer returning, but again they do not play top notch competition like some of the other schools in NKY.

Wow!!! If that is true, then that is really really sad. Guess that explains how another poster commented that they would be young this year. The better question might be whether or not coaches will be there to ride this crest of "great" soccer players through to the end.
