I have questioned Ballard's ranking, really expect Holmes to blow them out. 76-52

Taylor Co is a team that has been overlooked, they should earn some respect in the KOB. Nobody in the media had them higher than 4th place in the 5th region. Its too early to tell but I picked them to go to the Sweetsixteen and I am an Adair Co. fan.

By alot, but to me there comes a point where it doesn't really matter if you beat someone by 55 or 35 points one is not really any better than the other when the margin is that big. Odds are that Elliott Co. would beat Christian Adcademy by more than 11. But perhaps they are in the same district and know one another well. Both teams are good and havent played good competition yet. While EC has looked dominate in thier games and perhaps Jtown's victories havent been as impressive, Jtown not having thier best player would have a big impact on that. So I put EC ahead based on performance, but that does not mean that Jtown would lose to them if they played.

Why and how long has Cosby been out? I put Elliott county ahead mostly because of the Jtown only beating Christian Academy only by 11 points, but if Cosby out that game I might agree with you.

Who would win between Highlands and Boone county? Do they play each other regular season?

I would switch #4 Jeffersontown and #5 Elliott Co. Have #7 Ballard and #15 Shelby Valley trade spots. 11. Madison Central 12. Clark Co. 13. Highlands 14. Mason Co. The above teams 11-14 maybe overranked as a group they are all tied into one other with common opponents.

So far Jeffersontown like Elloitt county hasn't played anybody yet, but that dont mean they are not good. Plus soon enough we find out about Jtown (KBG).

So far the 5th region hasn't been performing like I thought they would, at least not the big four.

Right now I'd give a slight edge to Boone Co. Holmes may have the athletes but are still learning to find thier way, by the end of the year Holmes should be the better team. But I wouldn't count Boone Co out even then.

Who was out for Bardstown? This game is closer than I would expect.

Brock Stone appears to be thier leading player. They dont have much size (one player at 6'4), but did beat North Hardin 50-49 last saturday. 18-8 last year, school enrollment 2100. They play seniors and juniors

Henderson county wins at the Campbellsville tipoff classic. Brock Stone 16 pts for the Colonels. North Hardin was led by James Berry with 17.

I will be suprized if Ballard is within 15, actually I expect Scott Co. to be up by 20, 25 points or more, but coach Hicks, he may play some younger guys being up by alot letting the lead go down.

Good grief are those guys on HGH? I dont know what they are feeding them kids but 3 inches in one year is pretty good.

A small team to me is when you haven't got anybody over 6'3. But IMO that is the difference between out in the small county teams vs the big city or big schools. Adair county has Ballou at over 6'7, but will start two guys 5'8, but I dont consider us small because we got a big man. Of course the question was TALENTED short schools, so perhaps thats the difference also. The Indians are a good team but not like Elloitt Co.

Too early to tell about the chemistry, but this team seems more talented than the 2006 State Champs who didn't lose. I heard they had some close games in the summer, but did they lose any of those? It will definately be an upset if they lose a game to a kentucky team. Of course not many teams go thur the year without being upset.

North Hardin plays a tough schedule, on here alot. Adair Co @ North Hardin 9 Jan.

Yeah I say the 5th is in the top 5. Perhaps the best senior class in the state with Darren Ballou adair co; Jordan Hickman Bardstown; Leonard Macon taylor co; Greg Johnson north hardin; Chase Cox taylor co. I would put four of these guys in the top 25 in the state.

My bad SpeedyGonzales. Did you see the N.H./Btown game last year? I think you guys (Trojans) won around 15 pts. Sometimes scores are misleading, was that your biggest lead? Dont count out Taylor or Adair. I know you wont the Indians considering the last 3 years they have played.

I dont know about consensus, but I agree with them being the favorite. You'll find more people favoring North Hardin at least on the message board. Right now it looks like a four team race: Btown, N.H., Taylor and Adair counties. T.C. seems to be somewhat over looked but as a Tiger fan you remember the Cardinals from the regional tournment, Cory Hall was big time in that game! You beat A.C. comfortablely last year although Hall had about seven 3pointers in that game also. I dont know how competitive you were against N. Hardin in your loss? I can't wait for the season to begin!
