Pegasus Sports will be airing the complete four game schedule during the Oldham County Ronald McDonald House Classic this coming Saturday. Among the games is a contest between North Oldham's boys and Henderson County. In 30 years of high school sportscasting, I've never seen a Henderson County basketball team...so I know nothing about the school's tradition, much less the current team.

 

Can anyone tell me about the 2008-9 Henderson Colonels? The more, the merrier, as anyone can listen to our webcast, and we hope to have some Henderson fans listening...

Brock Stone appears to be thier leading player. They dont have much size (one player at 6'4), but did beat North Hardin 50-49 last saturday. 18-8 last year, school enrollment 2100. They play seniors and juniors

For a number of years it has been Henderson County, Christian County, Hopkinsville and University Heights representing the 2nd Region. Henderson has always has some athletes and has competed at a fairly high level.

 

It should be an interesting game as Henderson will have some quickness.
