Why does the varsity girls coach automatically become the leading candidate when the boys varsity coach position opens up? Why is it assumed that the jobs are the same as far as relationships and such? Just curious???

And......... I don't know what axe you have to grind in this thread but the assignment for the officials for the Saturday games are based up the evaluations done by more experienced and yes college officials and assigners. I don't think all are involved at the college level but a majority are.

What difference would that have made? They are not going to assign an official two games a day anyway. You are going to have 9 official work Saturday. How would that change which 3 get the final game? :confused:

Isn't this suppose to be more positive on these 3 officials being selected to work the state tournament finals? If you want to throw water on their accomplishment why don't you start another thread about the missed violation. :ohbrother: Congrats to Pouncy, Gearhart, and Bottoms!

Wow somebody makes a simple point and people sign on ( 5 post) to try and make a mountain out of a mole hill. I haven't gone back and reread every post but I don't believe Clyde ever said they didn't miss the last second shot. He pointed out, correctly so, that there was a travel by the point guard at the beginning of the play that was missed. If that had been called the whole ending to the game would have been a mute point. :thumb:

Didn't realize when you posted on here that people weren't allowed to question you. :confused: If you've been involved in one way or another for 30 years you may well be qualified, you didn't state that in your first post. Also no where in my post did I say they had done a good or bad job, I just said they are doing their job, you added the qualifiers.
