Scoring Totals: Dixon- 18 Hargett- 14 Heeger- 14 Sargent- 6 Great play from these girls tonight. Brown/Bowlin/Cheesman/Ginn/Ryan also contributed to the scoring tonight, in this game. Great Job Girls! Walton came out 'hot' and went ahead of Trimble quickly. Sargent came out with a 3' to start the scoring for Walton, and seemed to take care of the ball well throughout the first half. Trimble really never got the game close, and Walton had great 'D' tonight. Dixon had control of the paint, and Hargett/Heeger/Sargent put great pressure on the Trimble guards. Caused many turn-overs, which Walton capitalized on. Walton had good inside and guard play. Put it all together tonight. Well done!

Simon Kenton - Feb 26, 6:00 PM at Grant County Williamstown - Feb 29, 7:00 PM Finals - at Grant County Walton-Verona - Feb 26, 8:00 PM at Grant County Grant County - That's the times and dates for the 32nd District Tournament. Any Thoughts? I think Simon will cost to vistory over Williamstown. To much inside and outside play for Williamstown to handle. For the Grant/Walton game could get a little more interesting. Grant and Walton always seem to play each other tight, doesn't matter the year, it will always be a close game throughout. Walton has won both against Grant this year, but this is the one that really counts. I look for it to be close and WV getting a win. Only by 5. In the finals, I can't go against my Bearcats, so, they win by 4. Walton will need to play a prefect game to beat the Simon Kenton Pioneers, and I think they could do it. Best of luck to all the teams.

"Casper" that's a good name:D But different people switched on and off of Sorrell. Honestly, I don't think anyone on WV's team could lock him down for less than 30 points. He's just that good. Ponzer went out early, so it hurt Walton. But you and Weakside were right, someone needed to step up and say I won't let him score but seemed like no one could do that. He's the real deal. And HC is a solid team.

Walton held their own, and impressed me with their play. Holy Cross is a good team, Sorrell is a great player. Ponzer will be okay, hopefully, he's tough. Kirk played good with solid shooting. Sullivan is improved a lot throughout this year. Congrats to the Indians. Get well Ponzer, need you district. Good effort tonight Walton. Keep heads up!

I found out earlier today, after girl's practice, that Sargent might be out for tomorrow, due to illness. Not 100 percent sure, but that's what I was told. Any truth to that information?

Wow. This was Senior night right? A few of us from Walton were going to travel down to GC but we had Holy Cross tonight. Good luck to GC at Oldham.
